ALTUS m310 will always be the best RD. This is also the main reason why stock bikes from Trek and Giant use this RD. It's basically indestructible for as long as you don't use it for DownHill biking. And this may sound untrue, but even if Shimano specified the Altus M310 as an 8 speed max 34 teeth RD, but it can use up to 42T with no hanger extension and 46T with goatlink - 46T is my current setup on my hybrid bike.

Yes why not. See RD and FD are not in contact with each other while the transmission occurs. Both of them are in direct contact with the chain. And hence changing either one of them will not impact the other.

Why not chainring does not effect the performance of rear cassette and cogs. Untill and unless we use mega cassette(36T, 42T) assembly to TX800, at rear will not impact our RD assembly.

Yes it will help, actually upgrade to 1x10 with 10s cassette (11_42T), RD Deore Clutch type derailleur for 10s and Front chainwheel 1s hollowtech II deore with MT500 BB Hollowtech II, the hub you must use is FHM525 8/9/10s compatible. This will help you obtain the maximum possible gear combination (max gear ratios) with hassle free operation.

Lol, both Acera and Altus are 10x better than Tourney TX800 in terms of low maintenance and shifting performance, build quality (like pulley and spring) and shifts 99 out of 100 times correctly. Acera has extra stiffness over Altus

I have the Tourney TX on my Giant ATX2 mountain bike 3x7 (21speed). Owned it for more than 3 years and rode it for several thousands of kilometers. The Tourney is still in perfect condition and it still shifts 99/100 times correctly. The pulleys are still in perfect condition as well. I only took them apart once for cleaning and greasing. No, Acera and Altus are not 10x better than Tourney, but yes the spring on the Tourney is not as strong as that of the other two. It is important to keep the derailleur clean, oiled and well adjusted. If you do that, all of these three derailleurs are very good and reliable and will give you many years of service before needing replacement.

It shifts gears in a very lagging manner and takes the fun away. Besides there's not much difference of price between the groupset of Tourney TX and Shimano Altus. All bikes above 25k can ship with Altus atleast. Besides, if my post triggered your anger, you have some kind of inferiority complex. I stand by my point. You are free to disagree.
