If you choose hyaluronic acid as an active additive, would you need a preservative with this formula?
@theinstituteofpersonalcare6401 Жыл бұрын
No you wouldn't, you would also need to use the oil soluble version of HA as HA is water soluble normally. Hi Belinda, thank's for this video, I have a question, this oily gel is a cleaning oily gel or it's a leave in product, the question is because the sucragel has an Alkaline pH, I know that is a oily base so the pH is non aplicable, but could it be irritable to sensitive skin?
@theinstituteofpersonalcare64012 жыл бұрын
The final product is mostly oil so does not carry pH. It is for leave on, enjoy , then it washes off easily! Please email us for full formulation, method and supplier details: info@personalcarescience.com.au we provide this free. Happy formulating!

Will sucragel have the same effect for oil+silicone mixtures? Or do we combine with another gelling agent as the one used in your other video for oily gels?
@theinstituteofpersonalcare64012 жыл бұрын
Sucragel works very differently to gelling agents - you can't use both in the same formula to create this type of product. It will depend on the input of silicone, you would have to prepare a sample to try it. There are a few ways to broaden your searches for raw materials: • Visit our global suppliers page: createcosmeticformulas.com/IngredientSuppliers/cosmeticingredientsuppliers-897/ • Join our Cosmetic Raw Materials for Small Brands facebook group: facebook.com/groups/1734896293290235/ here you can split packs with others to access materials from large suppliers When you are a student with us, you also get access to our raw material database, which has 1000’s of raw material details in it, along with supplier details - so you can access this info, get in touch with suppliers and ask for samples (they will provide our students samples) and/or seek minimum pack sizes (or consider purchasing and splitting packs on the Small Brands facebook group above).
