Honestly, I have been waiting for a gameplay video to drop, and here it is! As someone new to the game (whose only card game experience is with Yugioh after 13 years), I found it difficult to understand and grasp the nuances of each of these respective decks. Still baby steps, but it is for sure starting get a lot clearer in terms of interaction and synergies within the decks.

Grabbed RGL as my first lorcana product on a whim. Pulled the enchanted robin hood sharpshooter from the included pack lol really excited to get started in the game and love your vids

Nice starter decks showing. I personally dislike that they only included shimmering cards on them. I liked to find new cards of previous sets that still didn't have, it helped me complete my collection (specially first chapter, who is no longer available in Spain from months ago). I hope this is a thing they only do once a year (on the august set) and they continue to include old cards in the starter decks, of course in a more lower ratio than the new ones. Thx for the vid.

It’s definitely a tricky one. I personally liked the inclusion of older cards too, since they often helped balance the decks out more. But I totally understand the desire for people to have only new cards. Hopefully you’re able to find some of those First Chapter cards 😊

In line at World of Disney in Disney Springs FL and they are saying they only have the D23 set (probably will sell out in first hour) Troves, decks and booster packs. No mats, binders, deck box or any accessories or the gateway.

I'm honestly not interested in the D23 collection I just was hoping to get a trove and some of the accessories like the Belle playmat and the Gateway but with the limited stock I'll be lucky to get a trove and some decks. (Future Edit). I've been in line for almost an hour and a half and the booster packs are running low, but I will be able to get the decks, a trove and the D23 set

What cards would you recommend adding to the green Steele deck from other sets to make it better, Ba Boom, etc type cards?

Anything that spreads damage would be good, like Giant Tink, Grab Your Sword, Avalanche, Tug Of War. The deck is slow if your opponent has no damage, so being able to apply it without challenging will help a lot. After that, just increase the quantities of the cards you like the most to help strengthen the deck.

Question, Scar’s ability ward says he can’t be chosen except to be challenged. I thought it meant Anna can’t exert him with her ability since it reads “*choose* an opposing character”. However, you guys did just do that, so what is Scar’s ability good for then?

Ward protects your opponent from choosing a character. However, Anna’s ability forces the player to choose one of their own characters which gets around Ward. But Ward is super powerful, because it protects in lots of different ways. We have a video about Ward which goes into more detail.

Any upgrades ides for the decks?

There are a few different strategies from this deck, so l'd say start by seeing which you find nost interesting to play. From there, if you did buy a second starter decks, you could increase the quantities of those cards. For instance, I really like the Taffyta location synergy, but to nake it work l'd want to increase the counts to 4 each of her and the Library. And since I like the library, I'd consider adding more cards that synergise with it like Bruni and Gale. And since it's Amethyst l'd definitely add 4 copies of Friends on the Other Side since it's one of the best cards in the game still. But really it's just about finding your style and tweaking from there. And by the way, if you're on Discord, you can hop over to ours and we have a whole section to talk deck building

We were used to, in the past, including the puzzle pieces, but there were some negativity from the community, so we decided to no longer do that. We need to stick to our decision on this.
