Looking forward to get the PD capture shoulder strap. With the normal straps the camera sits too high for me and irritates my collarbone A LOT. I have also tried to mount the PD capture to the hip belt, but also it irritated my hip after a hike. Hopefully you get to make a real product out of the shoulder strap! ❤❤

I do not know for certain and was very surprised when it died. Was literally in the middle of shooting. I tried for a few weeks to figure it out until finally sending it back and the answer was corrosion. Based on the corrosion response, my guess is from waves and shooting at the sea side. I recall one incident with some a sizable splashing :)
