Fun Fact about the highest damage in the game actually; if you do a Death Combo with Noctis, and the finisher is his Rage Art, then the Rage Art will do 9999 Damage as a nod to that being max possible damage in Final Fantasy! If you death combo Geese or Akuma, it also insta maxes their bar lmao. (Eliza too but hers gets maxed without the 9999 damage.)

Well to be specific, it’s not EXACTLY called “Ansatsuken”, as that is a generic term. There isn’t a legit name ever given to it but it’s derived from Ansatsuken moves (as it’s an assassination art).

You can make a literally unbeatable boss but if it doesn't have good design and isn't fair then it's garbage, which is what this boss is. As an example imagine trying to beat Guardian Ape and Midir in the arena of Capra demon with the second phase being Friede, Gael and Nameless King on the little walkways of Sen's Fortress (and they can't fall off) with the third phase being Orphan of Kos and Isshin on the bridge in front of Ariandel chapel. That challenge is probably possible but so fucking bullshit that regardless of the cool boss designs it'd be garbage. Shin Akuma is just that. A complete antithesis of what makes a Dark Souls Boss a dark souls boss.

I played the boss for like 4 hours total playtime until i beat him lol. I was like wtf, and after i won only to find out i was playing the 5 star diffculty the whole time. Then i went back at the 10 star difficulty and beat him right away, it was about the same just you take more damage. All you have to do at first is play with the range so he does that demon teleport back into the 3 fireballs and punish those for a while. Sidestep some moves, anticipate ad low parry the sweep kick (after a while you'll see it coming easily) and punish hard with electrics/combo into rage drive from my experience. Now i can beat him probably 7/10 times but there are those times you fuck up and die lol

Well, it doesnt really mean 1000 deaths tho. It's more like Instant Death or something like that. He only says 1000 deaths/Hits(Isshun Sengiku - Thats the kanjis that appear in his Shun Goku Satsu) because that's the thing you'll experience or so.. basically he just Metsu's your soul.
