The girl that turns into a woman at 9:00 looks and sounds a lot like Burroughs, doesn¡t she? She was the Goddess of Tokyo, according to STEPHEN. Thanks to Omega's efforts in reuniting Mikado and Tokyo, she has revived and returned to her true form. Also, STEPHEN said she created Burroughs based on a dead person, and since you were trying to revive a dead deaity in the Neutral route, then I assume Burroughs was a Goddess (THE Goddess) all along.

I like to think it's because we see that his interest in Tokyo was born from his own fascination for the culture; he never really hated the Unclean Ones, and the defeat of Merkabah made him realise that his authority meant nothing for his worth as a human being over the citizens of Mikado, or even Tokyo.

Chaos is the agenda of the demons Law is the agenda of the angels Krishna and Yakumo both put it best: "One does not lose their way solely through order, and one does not suffer by entrusting themselves to chaos. Only with the order of angels and the chaos of demons do humans lose their way" (shame bro wanted to dehumanize humanity, kinda kills your point of saving humans by stopping them from humaning lmao), and "See gods and demons alike fighting over humanity, and Tokyo cought in the crossfire." (I would call Yakumo out on his hypocrisy, but that would be hypocritical of me, as I would also value Nuwa over my ideals) These aren't actual idelogies, just extremist views of things that don't exist on their own. Chaos and Order exist relative to each other and the situation of the world, a spectrum to be pushed one side or the other may the need arise. The only time when that isn't true is when Law and Chaos aren't actually Law and Chaos, but Vengeance's optimism versus pessimism approach, where instead of fighting for a world of "freedom" for it's own merits, we fight for that same world for the demirits of what came before, and instead of upholding God's "order", we just pull Maruki's ending straight out of P5R were we force our vision of perfection upon the world (bringing Yoko back in this ending ruins it for me. Not enough for me to not pick it over chaos, but it makes it clear that it's not a good ending). Overall, the Reason were the best ending system in SMT because, instead if fighting for a flimsy ideology preached by the people that are trying to kill you through the game, there are the flawed ideals of the last people in the world, trying to rationalize why what happened happened. Tldr; punch God good, not punch God bad

Yup. It's implied that Stephen designed Burroghs as a copy of the Goddess and then programmed her into the Demonica Gauntlets to gather data. 25 years ago a man sided with neither the Angels or Demons and defended Tokyo from utter destruction. Then the man was reincarnated as Flynn and Burroughs watched him make the same choices, and stand neutral. So Stephen chose him to be the one to revive the Goddess.

2) The Chaos and Law endings have the angels or the demons under their will, but in the neutral route, Omega defies them both to create his world, a world where both believers of Heaven and Hell will merge so that the sky barriers that enforced them in will be shattered like the Britain Wall, where in the other endings, the barrier remains untouched, therefore is not the "true" ending, even though he is hailed as hero in killing Lucifer or live in a chaotic world with Merkerbah's death.

Many years after doing that ending and I realize that not even this ending is 100% happy. Flynn still had to destroy his entire 1500 years old culture and homeland, part of Tokyo (you saw those huge rocks falling, don't tell me nobody or nothing got hurt with that shit) and move his people to an entirely foreign country bringing up problems this kind of mass migration. The fact that they brought their people to Tokyo might help preserving a bit of their culture, but almost all of the landmarks, places and documents are completely destroyed now. And all that not considering the fact that, once again in the series, you had to kill your friends. They sorta killed themselves before that, sure, but you would still feel bad for killing those eldritch abominations knowing that part of them used to be your friends. Also you're reminded by both of the eldritch abominations that no matter what you do they will come back regardless due to how that universe works.There will always those yearning for the things those demons and angels wanted and they will come back to answer to those desires. This ending maybe fulfilling, but when you start looking at what was lost to achieve this and the other caveats you start realize the true nature of this pyrrhic victory. This ending is kind of fucked up.

yeah, I agree, personally this ending is better than both apocalypse's endings because they were either too sweet, because all your friends and Mikado survive or too ambiguous when it's not being dry like killing all your friends and every named human and reducing everything the player worked for in IV to ash leaving nothing behind of the old universe to make a new one that is largely ambiguous this ending has clear ups and downs downs because of what you said and ups because now humanity is free from demons for the time being

Well, after beating the Chaos route is nice to see a happy ending for Isabeau, the most heartbreaking part of any of the paths is seeing how basically only Flynn remains of the 4 friends, 2 of the msacrifice themselves for their goals and Isabeau kills herself to prevent getting killed by one of her friends.

Down the line most likely as she is impressed with Flynn very early in the game and drops many hints that she has fallen for him. Her words on Chaos/Law merely cement that she wanted to walk the same path as Flynn. Luckily she can on Neutral and gets her happy ending with him.

Hope? Yes, because having to, as you say, defend yourself is a very hopeful future indeed. Yes, I bet they cant wait for the another armageddon war in the future between the armies of law and chaos. See, here is what I like about characters of law and even chaos. They have ALREADY confronted the world for what it is and CHOOSE to do SOMETHING about it. Instead of ignoring the issue, they want to conclude it. Eventually, either Law or Chaos will reign supreme.

Neutral really could be seen as the best ending. Why? Because humanity has hope. In the Law and Chaos endings Humanity lacks an actual driving force, being controlled by either God or Lucifer. In the Neutral Ending humanity is forced to stand on it's own feet and confront the world for what it is. And the people of Mikado aren't insects, they'll be able to defend themselves.

Yes, because destroying Lucifer and Merkebah, becoming an Icon the people in Tokyo can rally behind, and uniting two peoples as one is "ignoring the issue". Masakado flat out says that Flynn only won a temporary peace, however seeing as Flynn was resurrected once already to reestablish peace it's safe to assume that during the next conflict he'll return anew. The world is not absolute, one force cannot rule over another.

Actually, the Ashura-Kai disbanded after Tayama's death and most of the former members are dead and the rest are willing to help rebuild Tokyo due to Flynn since he is the Champion of Tokyo. The Ring of Gaea is still up, but there aren't as many members anymore. Some of them think that Flynn pretty much proved that their philosophy (Social Darwinism) is correct since he defeated Lucifer and the rest are planning to leave the faction to help rebuild Tokyo back to normalcy.

I just wanted to add though, if you beat Ancient of Days, it will show God bringing "arks" down to start a new world, with a new humanity. Blasted Tokyo was Tokyo, and its people were unclean. Mikado on the other hand is clean, so it is entirely possible for God to rule over the world in the law ending for eternity.

Well, in Devil Survivor, Remiel and the angels seem much more bro like and will even help you in neutral routes. Lucifer in this game seems less charismatic then in previous titles and doesn't seem to like you unless you go with him. But you are right in aspect of previous games, he usually is a bit more forgiving for neutral paths and characters than God does.

That is true, however as the White return you to your reality before anything happens we have no clue what the result is. At the core of it I prefer the ending where Humanity is given control over their own destiny. Even a temporary freedom from the war between Chaos and Order is a boon to humanity, so they might live as they wish instead of obeying the whims of either God or Lucifer. Hope may be a fleeting thing, but while it lasts humanity prospers.

Mikado was literally above the ceiling that covered Tokyo. By removing the ceiling, Mikado ceased to exist. That's why Isabeau was trying to convince all the people of Mikado to move to Tokyo.

There's a few methods to encounter the fiends semi-quickly... I've run into four of them so far myself. But yeah, it takes a lot of reloading, and a little bit of luck. Will you get a video of the other NG+ bosses such as Azazel and Mastema? I do believe Mother Harlot is one as well, but I've yet to do NG+ Chaos to find her.
