Dear YHVH, The last week has been hell for me. I was killed by a flamboyant horse demon, was resurrected by Dagda as his Godslayer, killed Merkabah and Lucifer and all their minions, destroyed the Divine Powers like they were toys, killed my "friends," and took the Cosmic Egg for my own. Seems I have a knack for killing. Still, despite Dagda saying "obedience was not an option" or the like, I'm doing what I now know is right. Dagda and Stephen were right all along: so long as you exist, humanity will never be free. So here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to find you in your house. I'm going to kill you and your friends, and then I will take your throne for myself. Your existence and creations will be remembered by nobody as I become God of my own universe. It kind of feels rather satisfying that they have an actual animation of Krishna getting sliced open. Shesha transformed too quickly for Nanashi to get revenge for Asahi, so Krishna was a good substitute.

So Dagda knew Odin was playing dead and Shesha was Flynn, he was just playing along so the cosmic egg could be created hence an easy new universe? whoa..., looks like Lucifer and Merkabah were saying "false" messiah for a good reason.

They were calling him false way before the shesha situation though. Considering the Axiom picked 2 messiahs in this situation. Flynn was probably branded as the "false" one in Merkabah and Lucifer's eyes cause they thought only 1 messiah was chosen per cycle (and Nanashi was considered the "real" one I guess). That said, Lucifer and Dagda did know about Shesha impersonating Flynn back in camp ichigaya. Not sure about Merkabah cause Merkabah never aludes to it in any other way other than the usual "false" which, again, they were calling him that way before Shesha, it just happens to fit the situation lol.

@@omegaevolution I think it was to further reinforce, despite the people of Tokyo and even Isabeau championing him as a hero, the only two who really knew Flynn were Walter and Jonathan; not surprisingly, the only two you spend the entire game with up until the late game in SMTIV and even then it depends upon which path you chose. Walter and Jonathan, despite hating each other and Flynn, are Flynn's truest friends. Everyone else, even Isabeau, just saw him as a savior to cling upon and didn't know him as a person. It shows how pathetic and dangerous the belief in hope and a savior is as well.

I mean, she's the most versatile Partner by far. She can heal, buff, and do good damage. She also ends up as the least useful on the Bonds route for exactly that reason. If you want a support, you'll choose Navarre. If you want a magic nuke, you'll choose Hallelujah. If you want a healer, you'll choose Asahi.

It gave me chills how Isabeau, upon being chosen as goddess of the new universe, states a similar line as Hiroko from the Neutral ending of SMT2: "There's nothing we can lean upon in the new world we'll create... But you have me, and I have you." Makes it feel more like this tragic route is the real neutral ending instead of the Bonds route.
