My first playthrough I destroyed all the devices cause I thought Ishtar was going to be a pain in the neck, especially after finding out that she had like 8-9 turns if you didn’t destroy the device. But after fighting Ishtar and seeing how easy she was, I’m definitely going to try and leave at least 1 or 2 devices on and try it that in my next play through.

Holy shit. Ishtar took notes from Mot. I never knew how she actually was in this state or what disabling the magatsuhi devices actually did, maybe I'll try this for playthrough dos. In my first playthrough I shut most of them off but left two active because I was sick of wandering Chiyoda already and decided to just say fuck it and try fighting her anyway. I kinda just thought 3 press turns was how she was supposed to be and it felt like a very fair and fun boss at that amount. I'm also glad someone finally put some respect on that Avian magatsuhi skill, everyone just uses critical only.

On regular mode you can 2 turn her using Alice's die for me, yoshitune's Hassou tobi, donum magi and elec damapeners. She's actually one of the easier bosses I think I had more trouble with hydra tbh

Didn't realized that reflecting an attack consumed all press turns until I saw your video. Then I remembered that I had Makarakarn and Magic Mirrors and mixing that with Accursed Seal made this fight stupidly easy lmao. Good thing now there's an achievement for doing this on Vengeance (for platforms that have them like Steam) so now we actually get something for doing this.

I'll be honest, my first run of the game I honestly thought they were trying to prank you. I thought Decarabia was lying and was gonna make the boss super hard. Ended up beating Ishtar with a little bit of elbow grease and throwing everything at her for like a half hour until she went down. I was very wrong about my assumption, but it was fun to do it the hard way.

Same strat using accursed poison but then switch your raptor for dominion with taunt. He gets light block aswell so you taunt and then finish your rounds with light block, it generates a lot of magatsuhi when you block the attacks so you create a loop. I used yoshitsune and artemis with their default skills. I beat her in like 4 turns, I never took any damage.

Eh, you will still get the same, if not slighlty less damage count with Alice's Mudoon though. Since Die For Me is an AoE, I only used Mudoon throughout the fight and ended the last strike with DFM just to flex and have the spikes piercing on that monochromatic KO frame.

Die for Me can also be concentrated onto 1 enemy though since it’s 2-5 attacks spread out. Long as you don’t low roll the amount of times it hits, Die for Me can outpace Mudoon damage wise

@@QuickSilverKitsune Unless you have omagatoki dance, multi hit skills will hit a single enemy a maximum of the minimum amount of times it can hit. So Die For Me will hit a single enemy max 2 times. Without omagatoki dance, in order to get the max amount of hits you need at least like 3 enemies. It's still stronger than mudoon. Mudoon has 175 base damage. Die For Me has 120. Two hits of that is 240 base damage.

You can find Sutra that increase your positive potentials (that means you can't turn, say, Cleopatra, into a dark nuker) in treasure boxes or through navigator collecting.

Horus has innate Repel Light, it's hard to notice but there is a visual and audio cue on him followed by her taking damage. In press turn mainline games, drain and repel always remove every press turn compared to the two from missing/voiding an attack

Some bosses in 4A could be affected by ailments too. Ose and Titan midbosses didnt have any ailment resistances and Sikuna Hikona is weak to Sick. Cleopatra 4A DLC boss fight is weak to Poison.

I beat her at her strongest too. I used a Naga Raja with Endure, Fierce Roar, Great Life Spring, Marakukaja, and Pierce Armor. It really helped me a lot, since I could delete the 8 press turns because she likes to use Ziodyne. Naga Raja drains electric attacks and Fierce Roar is a broken move.

Nice!!! I beat Cleopatra at lvl 57 on hard using ‘Itachi’ the 3-legged crow’s Accursed Poison ability. She still was wrecking us, one-shot Yoshi in the first turn. In the end I revived him and he landed the last hit :) By the time I made it to Ishtar after getting Cleopatra and some optional bosses plus fusing for fun I was lvl 61 and destroyed her…a sad fight smh.

Great run but i feel like you wasted your Magatsuhi, you should've have went for that crit to do as much as DSP as possible and it's not recommended using charge skills anymore, concentrate has been NERFED to death. You do 1.8 damage now, it's better to just do two hits to get extra turns.

While I could've gone for a much quicker kill I went with Accursed Poison due to my low level, with level scaling Dreadful Gleam does way too much to my team and hoping for Drains/Repels with a rather gimped team is too luck based. Thinking about it now, I definitely could've used Taunt to divert her attacks to make it more consistent (as BuffMaister pulled off in his video) but it never crossed my mind. As for the concentrate/donum nerf, I've no knowledge of it during almost my entire playthrough. This was before the internal multiplier/damage values were made public.
