Watching a SHINee reaction from you guys is always a pure joy! I was laughing to myself when Dame Diddy talked about their 2000's r&b sound in the beginning and I knew he was about to be hit with some dubstep! 😂 This is definitely some of my fave choreo, especially the helicopter formation at the end. And also when two of the members would lift two of the others in the air on their backs while Minho stood in the middle with his arms raised like he was the one causing it. My favorite choreo of theirs is from "Sherlock (Clue + Note). SM liked to brag at the time that it was the most money they'd ever spent on a choreography before. Tony Testa, the choreographer, worked with Michael Jackson on "This is It" before his death. And you'd better believe that SM also loved to talk about how they were working with someone associated with Michael Jackson. Oh, and I loved the look on Dame Diddy's face at 1:29!!!

I'm pretty sure Tony Testa is the choreographer for Everybody! You should check out the live version at Tokyo Dome - watching them sing while dancing this is un-freaking-believable.

SHINee has always been known for their live vocals and extremely technical dancing ever since debut, even though they were so young - they were seen as kind of like 'little princes' typevibe, *especially* since they were so young. Replay was old school RnB, Juliette and Love like Oxygen were VERY MJ-y, I still go to watch their dance videos to those coz they're so satisfying to watch. With 'Lucifer' in 2010, they had the most exhausting choreo for idols at the time, because it was hard to dance it, much less sing live. Then they one-upped themselves with 'Sherlock' in 2012 as their next release, and then THAT one was the most exhausting choreo..... I think even now, people hesitate to cover it in the voting-idol type programs popular nowadays. Then in 2013, they did their most exhausting choreo yet, with Everybody - the dance practice is so great to watch omg. Taemin's poplocking and technical precision is really underlined. They experimented with accessories - their mic stand choreo in 'Dream girl' and tried out rock in 'Why so serious'. Then in 2015, theybrought in the new tropical house genre into kpop with the chill 'View', and the funky 'Married to the Music' repackage. And went back to the early 90s for '1 of 1' in 2016.... aaaand I'll stop there,lol, I'm sorry for the essay, but SHINee's discography is fascinating to me alskdjfl

In their debut years, SHINee was considered one of the best dance groups in the industry. They won dance awards left and right and really helped push the quality bar for difficult choreographies. What's great about them is that they're also super versatile with their sound, and they try to introduce new trends and genres into the kpop industry with each of their comebacks, while still retaining the high caliber of sound you find in all their music. They're one of the few idol groups that have been transcended from being "idols" to being true "artists". Although their title tracks are really impressive, my heart was actually captured with all their b-tracks. Symptoms, Feel Good, Evil, Spoiler are just a few off the top of my head.

In "Everybody" SHinee are supposed to be toy solders and they get their energy and power from the fans. So all the moves and everything you see, including the way they are dressed, is supposed to emulate how a toy solider would look and move. The fans power them up and that's why in the beginning they wake up from the floor and in the end they run out of energy and they disengage and fall back down to the floor to wait for the fans to come and power them back up again. In the middle of the performance where they come together and create that picture in their dance, they are supposed to look like an air plane, that's why Onew spins his arms round really fast like the propeller of a plane.

So glad you checked this song out! I highly recommend checking out their live performance of this at the Tokyo Done. It's fire!! Better than the MV IMO. The choreography for this is amazing and there is a practice video for it I love your reactions!

Tony Testa coreographed this along with Sherlock and Married to The Music. He was known as Michael Jackson coreographer as well. For me, his works are always amazing for my boys. The coreo is hard but Iam proud that the boys can pull it off.

Yesssss. The first ever kpop group i got in to. They've been my ultimate since 2010! SHINee have always been killing it with choreography and vocals. Everybody came out during the EDM/Dubstep epidemic in 2013....and they definitely did their thing! You need to get on other MVs...View, One of One, Lucifer, Married to the Music...etc etccccccccccccc because they are all fire.

Yeah the choreography is insane! And they do this while singing live. KINGS. The choreographer is Tony Testa (mud choreographer) he has also choreographed their song Sherlock ( which at the time it came out was the most expensive choreo in kpop). He also did their song Dream Girl. Which is a bop as well. I suggest you check out those two as well. I think the dancer versions would be best so you can really enjoy the choreo. I smiled at the beginning because you said SHINee were giving you r&b vibes. Which is true. But the great thing about SHINee is that they experiment with their sound. They give you a little bit of everything. As you can see. 😊 look forward to more SHINee reactions.

This is one of my absolute fav choreos from the boys. You can imagine them doing this live and still slaying with their vocals. It's insane. It's no surprise that the choreographer for Sherlock and Everybody was the same person. Tony Testa created some of the most iconic dances in kpop

Was not expecting Everybody, but thanks a lot for doing it and reacting to SHINee. They have always been great for artsy shots and/or interesting concepts. Even if you don't like the genre of music, the video always has something of interest with this group, along with another boy group VIXX, who I would also recommend. SHINee choreos are *insane* ! You should definitely check out "Your Number" (Japanese release) for a very different music vibe from what you've seen so far with one of the smoothest (yet one of the most complex) SHINee choreos. Other suggestions: - Married to the Music MV & Dance Performance video (the MV is Halloween-themed and it's legit insane lol. Choreo is amazing but you'll practically only see it in the Performance video) - 1of1 MV ( amazing 90's throwback) - Sherlock Live @ SWC IV (cause Sherlock is iconic in K-Pop and if you are gonna see it, it may as well be live! SHINee are some of the best dancers in kpop, their choreo is always complex and they have almost perfect synchronization. One of the cool things about htem is you will rarely have two SHINee title tracks that are similar unless there is a repackages album or early in their career. If you want a 90s feel you can listen to 1of1, if you want something a little electronic (and one of their most iconic songs) you have Lucifer or Ring Ding Dong, you also have View which is a lot more chill. Tens years worth of different and interesting music!

It made me so happy. After watching it, i went through your channel and watched a bunch of other videos . With that said.... SHERLOCK! NOW! I think its important to add this Shinee is composed of 5 members, Minho, Key, Onew, Taemin, and Jonghyun. Although Jonghyun is no longer with them, they will forever be 5 shinning stars. They are one of the first groups I got into, and they are so talented music, dancing, and harmonies when it comes to their songs. I would love it if you guys check out some of Jonghyun's videos. *She Is*, *Shinin'*, and *Deja-boo* are my personal favorites from him.

Dude, you guys gotta check out a live version of this. It's crazy intense and this MV doesn't show all of it. And they sing live while doing it. I had the honor of seeing them do it live twice and i was completely awestruck. For another dance definitely check out Sherlock. I would watch both the MV and the dance version. Dance version is a must. It's my favorite song and dance of theirs. It was choreographed buy Tony Testa. He was a choreographer for Michael Jackson's 'This Is It' tour.

If you like throwbacks, check out 1 of 1. Also, the dance version of What’s Your Number. And Lucifer dance version but I think the Japanese version is better than the Korean version. And recently, Good Evening - that’s a totally different dance vibe. And I Want You - a different sound. SHINee just changes up their music so often it’s great.
