I know this is an old video but I’m just getting into shinee now and I’ve never seen a kpop idol seem so different solo vs in the group. I only knew taemin as a soloist and his work is pretty hardcore and serious, so I figured his personality would be similar but he seriously turns into such a goofy child when he’s with the other members, it’s so cute. I’m glad he has such a great family in shinee

I think he will be alright. I know we are all worried about him and Jonghyun is on our minds but now everyone is vigilant about Taemin where I don’t think people realized how Ill Jonghyun was. His family is aware and so is his manager and the military. I’m glad he is in social work it might take his mind off his problems. He needs all the support and love we can give him.I wish he could see Naeun again bc they seemed to have fun together

Made me SO emotional. It's been a wild ride for Taemin since Jonghyun passed... SHINee, solo, SUPERM, solo, SHINee, solo.. It never really ends for him and the fact that he's got through it all with a deteriorated mental health and his broken spirit it's far from being okay. Taemin started at 14..14!!! When most guys just go and play football or spend their whole day gaming with their friends, Taemin was working day and night to put him out there and be everything that he is today..and all the other members knew this, they knew he was very very young to be away from his family and friends and that is why they became his family..they supported him in every way possible despite being pretty busy themselves..SHINEE is this and all of those good things..I mean they were all in their teenage and still looked after Taemin so so well..I'm proud of these guys..and in so so proud of Uri makdoongi..don't worry Taeminie we're always with you through thick and thin just like your hyungs..take a break and just get well soon.. we'll always be with you..

wow what a wonderful beautiful family, my heart goes out to Taemin in his struggles away from them, his support network. I found Shinee through Taemin. I understand the music industry in Asia is so much different than the rest of the world. So its only your group members that you rely on for your every day contact and emotional support. The struggle is real. I bet it is heart breaking for his brothers to see and hear about Taemin struggling. I know myself how proud I am of them, to be able to be a witness to their amazing life, their amazing talent, that's brought so much light and happiness to the world, the extremely dedicated and hard sweat and tears these boys have put into their art. I love how even when Taemin went solo he still mentions SHINee and how much he misses them and no matter what activity he is in. Key also put it into perspective that he onew and Minho were basically together when they went. Teamin is the only one enduring alone. He probably wanted to stay and do regular service to not impact the groups reputation but his depression was too much. I hope he is okay now! i feel idols get a tough time going into the Military, not dismissing others dont, but it must be so hard, i felt for Taemin, when his brothers went into Miltary then he had to go, yes you can see the other members were really concerned about his time in Military and how he would cope.

I'm now crying, but with happiness seeing this. He was so happy here and then had to go into the military. I'm also crying because, imo, Taemin's depression and anxiety started when Jonghyun died. He was Jonghyun's favorite and even though it was devastating for all of Shinee, it was esp. so for Taemin. Now on a good note, Taemin will get out of the military Feb. 2023 for those who don't know this 😀.
