This series was amazing, i remember watching season 1 with my cousin. We were both pumped, then season 2 didn't come for years, and we moved on with our lives. Later, i became a manga reader of the series and finished it, then watched the rest of the animated series with my brother and finished it last Christmas. This thing was such a roller coaster for emotion and story. As soon as i hear a soundtrack of the series, it brings back memories of shock and excitement. It's really the only series that's done that. Dont know why i decided to rant here, but i know some might understand.

The line "Ist das der Zerstörer oder der Schöpfer" means "are they the destroyer or creator" which referes to the ability of people behind the wall to use titan powers. "Mit der Glut des Hasses schwenken wir die Schwerter" basically means that they will swing their swords with hatred, like the ember of a fire which burns even after the fire is extinguished. "Ist das unser Schicksal oder unser Wille?" is about the ability to use the titan power. It's the question if it's the destiny of their people to live behind the walls, or if it's their will to do so. "Wir werden kämpfen, bis dieser heiße Wind unsere Flügel nimmt" means that they wont give up fighting until the hot wind (may refering to the colossal titan's hot steam) will take the wind under their "wings". "Was finden wir jenseits dieses Horizontes?" is refering to season 3 where we finally learn that their country is an island. The question basically means "What will we find past the horizon".
