I have it back, but not a rash, just pain. I have to take Gabapentin. It helps with the pain. I hurt everyday. Allot of the pain comes from depression. I have allot of that. Thanks granny bee, and God bless.

The homesteaders is a big community with a lot of viewers. Most of them or just going with the flow right now and not changing. They've marked their videos. I'm hibernating this Christmas. But I do have a few videos I want to put it out before then. I have had pneumonia all last month. So I have not done any videos. I know you've been under a lot of stress. But remember you cannot change the past. You can make your future. Sit down and take inventory what is it that you really like to do and do it.

Ok, my first thing that is on my inventory list is a great Christian soulmate, is there such a thing? I can not live alone much longer. I'm looking, but it is almost impossible. The world is crazy. Not many know why we are here. Some of us do. I need someone soon or I will go out of my mind. I know I need to take it slow, but how long is slow? It's been 7 months. I had chickenpox twice as a child... I caught it at school gave it to my little sister, we gave it to our little brother and he returned it to me... My Dr. told me I'll probably end up with it do to me getting the pox twice( Higher risk)... I have a scare on my lower back from the second case (Been told everyone who gets them twice gets a scare)... Get better and hang in there... Have a great day...

My poor mother at age 84 got it on around 50% of her body (upper body). It was almost unbearable for her to even wear clothes. She said the pain was almost unbearable. It seemed like it took forever to heal. But then, she had just finished radiation treatment for throat cancer so her immune system was destroyed which didnt help. She tried everything including herbal medicines. It took her about 3 months to heal. It was horrible for her. Poor thing. I'm sorry you had to go through this. I had a raging case of chicken pox when I was little. My mom said that makes me more susceptible to getting the shingles. I don't know.

Hi Cindy, sorry to hear that sad story about your mom getting them awful shingles. I know they were bad on me, and my case was not as bad as some. I know for sure that depression will bring the shingles on. But I hope you never get them. Thank you for sharing that story with me. I hope to never go thew it again.

My dad had shingles and it was very painful. They have a vaccination for shingles but not sure how safe they are. Yep it hasn't been good for making videos around here because of the weather and the holidays. Take Care!

It's just nuts, I have been sick, stuck in the house, sore throat, sneezing all the time. And the weather is up and down. I don't even know what to video anymore. Can't show kids, can't have music in the background, what is next? I might just quit if I get strikes on kids or not kids. We will see soon. I hope KZbin can set a better standard.

Kids under 13 only reflects on the Creators not the kids them selfs. I hope KZbin gets their act together. Why should I get blamed for what KZbin knew about along time ago. Now they will start taking down all the small channels. This is why I am backing up all my KZbin videos today. I will find another platform.

I got chickenpox in my 30s from the babysitting job I had and had shingles when I was in 50s. On my head but just as painful. I got the two-part shot this year that may lessen the condition if it comes back. They used to make you wait until over 65, but times have changed.

I got my shot two months after my shingles left. But really they never really left me, I still have pain.

Gabapentin is good. I've taken it for my fibromyalgia, and it did work for awhile, but then it stopped. Be careful going off of this medication though, you need to taper off it slowly.

Mine was the same as yours. Belly button around to the spine. Luckily my mother in law remembered what it looked like and we caught it within 3 days. Went away in the first two weeks of the pills but still hurt like hell!!

I must have to translate it to know what it is... and yes I got it too, but not on my belly but on my arm, it was just like a mushroom circle. I can't remember what I got for it but by a week or three is was gone. Hope for you that it won't come back again.

I have the pain, but not the rash. I will have that for life. It's not to bad. Gabapentin works well for me.
