MK9: Great Story MKX: Awesome story with new characters MK11: Perfect Story with characters getting improved MK11 Aftermath: Ruined the beauty of MK11 Story MK1: Creative Reboot but unfortunately removed all awesome characters and features with a beautiful story and replaced with a trash story

@BruH-lx2uj What do you mean it's far from perfect? Characters became improved, and it's great, there would have been a good ending if they managed to save the current timeline, and don't forget, they made the heroes smarter and stronger, and in MK9, Scorpion was just useless, in MKX, he was just a trouble, but in MK11, he became smarter and helpful for the heroes, and his younger self (Spectre Scorpion) listened to him and he also decided to assist them, it was Raiden who attacked him without realizing the truth, and the only flaws of the story are in chapter 1, older Sonya died and in chapter 10, older Scorpion died, if none of them died in none of the chapters, then it would have been better, and if they saved the current timeline, it would have been even better.

@ “they made the heroes smarter and stronger” no they did not there’s literally a scene where Cassie cage walks directly into minigun fire and gets shot. And the whole random plot line where past Sonya gets mad at cassie for her future self’s death was just dumb and pointless. And moving away from the heroes, mk11 has possibly the worst main villain of the entire franchise.

@ Those are the only parts where the heroes acted stupid, and don't forget that she is young Sonya and she didn't face that event yet, and she doesn't even know that how her future self died, and she didn't know that she was trapped by rocks and she sacrificed herself for her army and for her mission, all she knows is that she was the general before she died and that her body ain't recovered and she thinks that Cassie abandoned her to save herself, the same way Takeda thought about Kenshi in MKX, and when Kano took Johnny and Sonya to his fight club, Cassie shot and placed a tracker on their plane so that they'll be able to know their location and rescue them, which was a smart idea but worked for fortunate, and I didn't talk about Cassie and Sonya, I only talked about Scorpion and Sub-Zero, in MK9, Raiden promised Scorpion that if he spared Bi-Han, he will ask with the elder gods to return his family and clan back for the living, but all Scorpion did was trusted what Quan Chi showed him by illusions and broke Raiden's trust, now he'll never be able to return his family and clan back to life, and he just worked with Quan Chi, that's why he lost his free will after Bi-Han died, on the other hand, Sub-Zero didn't teleport into somewhere else when cyborgs captured him, which is why he ended up becoming cyborg, and in MKX, after Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Jax were returned to life, he found out that Quan Chi is the one who did for making a deal with Sektor, and he went for Quan Chi after Special Forces captured him, Sonya explained the reason why she cannot let him have Quan Chi, he's the only one who can restore the revenants back to their living selves, but instead of listening, he attacked them and tried to behead Quan Chi, which helped D'Vorah to give him the amulet to release Shinnok and how successfully Shinnok was freed, which is why Scorpion in MKX is just a trouble, and in MK11, he got the idea of getting the help from Kharon to attack the Netherrealm and defeat Kronika, he and Sub-Zero got the idea to get help from Kharon, and in MK11, Sub-Zero got a plan of sneaking into the Cyber Lin Kuei factory and finish the Cyber Lin Kuei factory, and Scorpion and Sub-Zero are the ones who got the idea of enlisting Kharon's aid, who will help them to get to the Netherrealm and defeat Kronika, and Kronika might be a bad antagonist, but she was powerful enough to wipe them all out from the history, but Liu Kang was stronger than her since he was combined with Raiden and became a god who can control fire and thunder, which helped him to defeat her.

@ Even young Sonya was still a seasoned officer, and yet seemed to forget to read the battle report? That just seems like bad writing lol. Also, the absolute buffoonery of Kotal Kahn’s ark was a laughable failure and big wasted character potential. Yes, kronika is powerful, but that can also just be summed up to NRS’s bad world building, her plan makes no sense whatsoever. Almost every single jobber in the story are poorly written and wasted (noob saibot who only has like 1 encounter in the base game). There’s also tons of moments where the whole time plot point makes no sense, like the whole thing where if you hurt a past character their future selves will also get hurt (which is only seen with Kano’s death but seems to be forgotten right after). The story and writing just seems like it was made by a 6th grader.
