@@KaramKaradsheh huh, how yamamuro in his prime back in z was some of the best art in dragon ball it just looks beautiful and in super his work had a major downgrade as it all looks shiny and plastic like while shintani’s work in super is what people describe to be reminiscent of z which is ofc a good thing and when people have drawn shintani’s style with scenes from z the z style looks far better than shintani’s style.

Shintani understands how Color theory work in a way that none of the flashy and bright art styles of Dragon Ball transformations clash with each other. A good example of what he did better than Yamamuro is with Ssgss. In Super Broly, Shintani actually toned down the turquoise color of the form for it to not clash and actually blended in with Goku's Orange clothing which makes it very pleasing to the eyes. But Yamamuro didn't. When I saw Ssgss for the first time in resurrection F, it really felt fanmade cause of how forcefully bright the turquoise color of the aura and the hair is and yet with all that Turquoise light, the clothes were still default bright orange and did not blend in with the aura. Edit: One more thing I forgot to mention is how Shintani's art style makes it so that the shadings look noticeably more vibrant instead of the usual just lowered brightness for shadows like in Yamamuro's artstyle

I think I finally understand why I didn't like the look of dragon ball Super. It's because of Shintani. I prefer dragon ball z style so yamamuro looks more like it. I feel like shintani makes everything less impacting and less serious. It's too soft for me. I need relief and shadows

Shintani's art style gets carried by the animation, it's pretty mid if you just showed a frame in the movie and I don't know why people are choosing the shintani's art style over the z art style. I know the art style was made to make it easier to draw and is more focused on movement over detail but it's still not that good especially with that filter that makes it blurry for the sake of making it look old.
