HJC is the best cycyling helmets available todate in my opinion. I pretty much own all the top end brands race helmet. Why? I don't know lol I took a trip for a two weeks for cycyling in Thailand in 2018 and happen to forget to bring my own helmet there. I've found HJC Furion helmet by chance when I was 1.0 version. Honestly I didn't expect much from it but surprisingly it was so good. Now in 2020 I now own HJC furion 2.0 and Ibex and they are my go-to helmet.

All good being Aero but have they got any rotational force protection like MIPS? I personally won’t go near any helmet without this and published data on its safety

If you're interested rotational impact protection, you should check out this study conducted by a Swedish insurance company. They teamed up with the Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE) to test shock absorption and oblique (rotational) impact protection of a bunch of helmets. They didn't test a large number of helmets, 27 total, I think, but the results are really surprising. A lot of helmets that you would think would do well didn't. It's not the end-all, be-all of studies, but damn is it interesting. ERm... all helmets from any decent brand have to have the relevant standard testing - be it CPSC, EN1078, Snell, what have you. The data on Mips is somewhat controversial- the industry as a whole does not agree whether it matters.Kask and Bontrager certainly dont with their own technologies, and theres a whole shitshow around the technical comitee looking into this. most of the worlds largest motorcycle brands also dont seem to think mips really works.
