Okay, so I watched your video 30 minutes ago and decided to go to that pond to catch a few Lv. 100 Magikarp myself. After meeting the 3rd Lv. 100 Magikarp and looking around, a shiny Magikarp spawned in the distance and I caught it! She's only Lv. 50 but damn, what a coincidence - and full-odds too! Last time I randomly stumbled upon a full-odds shiny (and caught it) was 9-10 months ago (a shiny Rellor). I guess some of your luck rubbed off on my game lol

I just found your channel and I've been gradually going through videos. I lost all of my data in shield, arceus, and scarlet early this year when my switch bricked and it's been such a devastating loss because I had dedicated so much time hatching eggs. I got really into shiny hatching after a work injury made it hard to play games, (I could only play one-handed for a while, and shiny hatching was one of the only things that wasn't painful) so any shinies I have mean a lot to me. I haven't really picked up my pokemon since. The idea of going back through the games and doing everything again fills me with dread. All this to say, your channel is making me want to pick the games back up and get back my shinies. At least Scarlet, maybe Arceus. But yeah! So, thank you.

Here's a tip for ShinyCatherine, and everyone else, you can hold "ZL" to lock on the Pokemon and it'll show gender and level. This would've made the process go faster. This also helps when you try to encounter the pokemon so you can simply throw the pokeball using "ZR". Edit: I forgot to mention this is also useful for finding Pokemon that transform into wild Pokemon until you encounter them (Ditto, Zorua, and Zoroark).
