I have tried to do Dutch braids on my nice, and my mate, but I couldn't because all I can do is a plain plait and it's because of watching how you pull in hair and wrap it under, I was taught the opposite of the technique. As in gathering 3 strands, then instead of turning the bottom strand into the middle strand, on the Dutch braid, I have been taught to do just without a running braid as you have on here, I am muscle memorised my straight pigtail plait, to start at the top piece or strand to wrap that piece over the middle strand the bringing the bottom strand, across atop that middle strand so it's not a backward braid, it's the opposite, I plait hair forward! Agghh no wonder I couldn't do this Dutch notted to the head each side type of braiding. My mother's fault. Thanks though you are very good at explaining. It's practise. Now I have to get hold of someone yo practice on xxx
