This is why I love elden ring, the small details, such as fire knights (and even fire monks in the base game) using their respective seals to cast stuff, along with the fact that some enemies can use ashes of war that you can use.

The most extreme level of attention to detail is in the base game So, the nox army is mind controlling the ants against their will when they ride them. If you use sleep or any other way to successfully knock them from their mount ant then the spell breaks & ants will shake their head regaining their consciousness & will start attacking Nox rider immediately

Extra thing you might not have noticed about the dragon corpse in the Furnace Golem: The metal bars where the dragon head is poking out are bent, so the dragon was presumably alive and struggling while being burned alive during the creation of the Furnace Golem, and tried to escape by shoving its head through the bars.

Bayle probably doesn't have a choice. You can see on the model that they are still biting into Bayle, probably because they were ripped off while Placidusax was winding around Bayle and Bayle fled with such force that it ripped the two heads off.

The Sorcerers you find in the catacombs are probably mislabled. There is no indication that these sorcerers have any connection to putrescence, nor do they exhibit traits or similarities besides being skeletal themselves. The name "Putrescence Sorcerer" In fact, was popularlized by Fextralife's page on them. They have since corrected this, now calling the enemies "Catacombs Sorcerers" Which is much more fitting.

He argued that they shouldn't rely on the gross factor, since the undead dragons in ds1 are still gross anyway, but he wanted them to get across the sorrowful idea that this is a once majestic creature destined to slowly decay into ruin. The ghostflame dragons aren't exactly the same concept, however gross or disgusting features still remain a minor part of their design. Evident due to the fact hardly anyone actually notices the grosser parts. As it was in ds1. It remains dignified.

Fun fact about the little blue lamprey worm guys is that they emit a slight whistling sound when you get next to them.
