This series of videos got my mom interested to try the game, she's enjoyed them so much. We're close to taking on Octavian. Fantastic video as always, we both loved it!

I remember seeing the Castlevania crossover trailer, and seeing Simon in there was both so hype and so terrifying lol. Never got around to fighting him in my solo saves since the skull mark intimidated me, but maybe that's the intention... He IS a Belmont after all. As for the forest fog, my hc is that the cultists tore open the veil between the lands of the dead and ours, which is why everything in there is not only hostile but also mangled in various forms. Had they succeeded back then, who knows what would've happened to Drac's body... Edit: forgot to add that it's really nice to see other players be kind and working together even when not in the same guild. I'm not confident in my wifi to try out a PvE server though lol

I have awful wifi too so I'm very happy I didn't fight Simon by myself!! The Cursed Forest is a very underrated area imo, I love the lore and spooky decor but there's not many places to build and the fog won't go away from your castle. With what you said about the Cursed Forest, I'd love to see an area there where you can fight previous ghosts of bosses scaled up to your level similar to Mortium. PvE servers are amazing!! They lose popularity a few weeks after resets, but everybody is soooo friendly and willing to help! There's no risk of invasions, so everybody focuses on aesthetic and making their castles very welcoming :)

If what I heard is true, the Simon fight is unique in how it scales. It's "??" level no matter what level you are. He not only scales up in difficulty like every other boss based on how many players are engaged but he scales up based on the highest level player present. He's great fun but so tricky. fighting him on a waygate was honestly really smart for a daytime fight rofl. I like to fight him in open space at night though for more room to move.

I've watched other people fight Simon solo and the amount of destruction he causes is so scary!!! I intended to record myself fighting him at Farbane in later episodes, but then I stumbled into him in this video. I'm glad I fought him with everybody else lol
