Taking all of the mechanics and techniques we’ve learned we set up a fight between the Spanish & English Pirate Hunters.

If I had not seen the actual game play I would have imagined a much clunkier process. This system flows well especially given the amount of data being tracked by each player. Now I am going to have to go back and watch the raid from the sea.

I'll get the game for the ship-to-ship battles as I'm not aware of many games that allow ship combat and an in depth boarding combat. Well good luck on your second kickstarter.

Ahh, was looking forward to this. Admittedly, I'm more a fan of slightly bigger ships but this ship to ship battle and the landing action look really cool. Would've loved to see how the latter played out, though. And, well, I still love the table you guys built...

I think some sort of plastic template to sit over your ship card with pegs to mark damage is definitely needed.

I really like the ships, love to weather them and add details especially in sails. So do you change flag direction each time you move to keep track of wind? How do you change wind direction. What I like to do with is have a big multi multi player game with each player with a ship, though fear you might need to simplify some areas of rules. Ship template is their only one size? Im hoping if you have say galleons and bigger turning circle should be bigger. Also want to know is model have a mark on hull to line up template to move.

Might have been better to focus more on the ship stuff. That mostly looked like 2 line sof guys shooting at each other. It hinted at more though. Could possibly have used a bigger table and more ships. But i was distracted with painting.

Polyeurethane insulation boards sculpted with a wire cup in a drill. It's much easier than you think. Cork bark is also good for rock faces.
