So, from what I gather, the long boat can somewhat work as a life boat. The "oh crap, my ship is taking a beating. Pull up the boat." Load some bloaks up, and even though you are still attatched, at this point it us "grappled" so will not sink with the ship. Of course now you are in a long boat, and what ever sunk your ship is still out there. I have not comitted to buying this game yet (I think I will buy the long boat regardless for other gaming, and use that as my gateway drug into buying more), so I am currious about crew capacities. I have not noticed it on the pictures of the cards, so is it what ever you can fit?
