We haven’t!! It seems they’re both roguelite so they should be fairly similar but wouldn’t be able to say much outside of that

Yeah it was great!! In the end I think our Shelbie + Krillstoph/Shrimpy combo was our favorite. Shelbie was the best cannon character and Shrimpy could be made into a really good paddle character so together we were unstoppable haha

Great to hear it works well! Still a bit hesitant to pick it up right away, as the Overcooked-like chaos isn't my favorite type co-op. The party chaos, while fun, can be exhausting and we prefer a bit more slow paced skill based games with my partner. Still I think we'll try this eventually!

The arguements and chaos are a big part of co-op games. It makes you better at team work. Being able to listen to your partner whilst also focusing on the battle at the same time

I just upgraded my setup from a GTX 750 (no Ti) and a VGA cable ViewSonic 19 inch monitor to a RX 570 8gb Display port Gigabyte g24f (23.8 inch) and can run Skyrim on ultrahigh with shaders and other viewing enhancement mods- but this game keeps having random frame drops/stutters causing me to RIP mid-run. I work in IT and tried all kinds of things: Updated drivers, manually downloaded the drivers from Gigabyte's site, tried setting the games priority to high. The thing is it doesn't even get to 12% usage on the GPU, less than 10% usage on the CPU, basically no ram usage (bellow 5%). Can't figure out what's making the game so unplayable.

That’s disappointing!! We played it on console so can’t speak to the PC experience as much but I’m sure they’ll fix that soon, they seemed on top of all the bugs and patches. We suggest you send them an email or submit a bug report on their site somewhere!

Can you get the co-op trophy just by leaving a second controller on? I don't have any friends to play with sadly. I'm 36 years old married and my kid still too young to play games.

Haha I suppose that could work, the trophy is for beating the game with a friend so as long as you beat the game, the game won’t know. And we won’t tell either 😉

It's possible yeah, but it's gonna be really tough if the 2nd guy isn't doing anything. You'll need to be really good at the game (and have a fair bit of luck too) to beat the co-op mode with one player idle. There's online co-op though, so if you can find a partner on some website, then that's an option!

Biggest issue with this game is buying it on switch. It will freeze and ruin your experience later in the post first win gameplay

@@tasteedonut2819, Gunfire Reborn is one of the best Roguelike games ever made. No sarcasm. Play it immediately. You'll probably get at LEAST 45 hours of fun with it. It's fast, chaotic as hell, has many different builds to go for (unlike other games where they say there's plenty of builds but you just get the same build each time because 99% of the items are worthless garbage), plenty of charafcters that ALL can be totally broken in their own way. A decently lengthy progression system to encourage you to replay it. You also unlock new boss encounters for each set of levels as you play through, so it does have minor changes as you do more runs. Oh, it also has like... 12 difficulties to play on? Each one dramatically increasing how hard it is and you gotta beat the prior difficulty to unlock the next one. Please do yourself the favor and buy it. It's really an amazing game.

This game is wayyy too easy to want to be able to lower the difficulty. I want enemy multipliers with greater Trinket stats to reward a higher difficulty. My brother and I beat the full run on our 2nd or 3rd try. It's an absolutely wonderful game but it is just a bit TOO easy.
