SHIP REQUEST for The Pirate Caribbean Hunt & How to make GOLD fast

In the first month or two after I posted this video, I was ready to respond, and did, numerous times, with ships all custom painted, but I haven't played the game for at least a year now, and I'm not doing this anymore.... I've moved on. Now I get a LOT of requests unlike when I put up this video, and I apologize to those people. You can still get this ship by your own effort, minus the custom paint job, and you can still follow my instructions to your great benefit. I myself did everything the hard way... even wrangled a few of the super ships by boarding them with great difficulty, and therein lies most of the fun.
Plz don't ask for ships anymore. I don't mind a friendly hello and comment now and then, but if I see ship requests, I'll shut down comments altogether. Again, I don't play the game anymore, but I don't discourage others from it; it was eye candy and I love the Napoleonic Age of Sail. And don't ask others for ships either, or again, I'll shut down comments.

I'm not sure you showed how to make money fast, but at 8:02 was the answer, you maxed out all your ports. Early going, I just upgraded the big money makers in ports, like cannon ball manufacturing, and used 1 ruby for the guild to auto-sell goods. I put a ship with maintenance crew in each port so I could just click on the port and collect money periodically. The other thing was using a big ship to grapple ships, capture them, then sell them. I must say that was impressive using s small ship and beating those large fleets with gunpowder, if you don't have a large ship with lots of sailors for capturing. The other nice thing the way I do it, you don't need a lot of cannon balls, which costs money, but I use chain balls if I have to slow ships down for easier catching. Well done.

You can also invest in islands that you conquer in main campaign. Its just passive income, and when you max a few, they just snowball and you get so much coin back... And also giving away steam corvette is cool, but regular corvette is the exact same speed, better turn rate and much better combat capacity for new players. 13 cannons on each side vs steam 8 cannons on sides, and you cant even put cannons on front and rear on steam (26+4 vs 16). Only thing steam corvette has over regular is a little more hp, and goes 10 kn in irons ,thats it. Regular corvette is better man.. She can even battle some of the weaker tier 4 ships.. For your playstile steam corvette is fine, but that is just a bit advanced for someone new, they would prob had more fun shooting stuff you know.

nice advice but do i need to have the second trapmaster skill(the one that gives you +100% dmg for barrels)and is it going to be ok if if also throw not just Barrels but Oil too? edit: i once got a Treasure map very near to the port of Cartagena on my 4th time trying to get there to find wrecks a Corvette(pirate one cause if it is Spanish it wouldnt attack me)and had to spend some time in a nearby smuggler port the on the 5th ANOTHER PIRATE CORVETTE spawned and did the same thing then on the 6th a britsh Brig spawned(the brits hate me)but luckily a dutch Civil ship(forgot about it since i went straight for the island but there is no Wrecks there so i just decided to find the treasure. also Patrol Ships and Pirates are like hunting me everywhere i go any tips for this?

Why build ships when capturing them is sooo easy? I would advice to use money for all kinds of upgrades, not waste it on building ships. Honestly, all you need is one fast upgraded ship with big enough crew to capture bigger ships for selling. Corvettes, the smallest Frigates and tier 4 Men o' war are the best in different stages of the game. When you attack, first destroy enemy ship's sails, then get one side of the hull half-way down and destroy all stern cannons if enemy has them. You can do both things from safe distance/angle. The rest is just circling around in the safe zone behind the enemy ship avoiding side guns / boarding and peppering their crew with shrapnels on every turn until the ship is empty (or board the ship if you have big enough crew both for the fight and managing the second ship afterwards). It takes a bit of practice to pull all the maneuvring right without being hit more than once (or not at all), but when you know what you need to do, you can learn it quite quickly. If you go one-to-one against AI then, any ship will be yours.

I find it very easy to capture first rates but my entire play style is based on boarding so I was able to capture my first rate with a galleon and upgraded boarding attributes.

You can get the ship by capping it. It is worth the work you put into it those ships come up in curtain places probably more the north near the American lands. Trading resources and escorting other people are a job that you can make money in this game.

you can't let them follow you but you can let them attack or evade its really simple but first click the 3 ships and arrows on the top right then set all ships to sail then head to anywhere then click again on the symbol and use attack enemy ships or evade enemy ships

@@sayukir6720 I had tons of cash. And I did finally spring for a Duke at one point just out of curiosity. I don't even use it. It didn't help. All I do these days are the challenges. If you have a METHOD of getting sloops and other small ships, I wish you would share that. The rest of the challenges I have down. I didn't gift you money b/c that's what my gift of a maxxed out steam ship would bring you with the method I showed. People like to learn to fish rather than be given fish, if you know the expression... I can use those ships when I get lazy and go in with a fleet with orders. It just takes longer to do it that way even tho it's less work.

I've essentially finished the game. I just do the challenges now, and for those, the exotic and big ships don't help at all. But INFORMATION on how to find and sink the small ships (some of the challenges require sinking a number of small ships, but finding them is the problem) would be a huge help. Let me know if you know plz.
