I’m sure there are plenty of videos/articles on how to setup shipping costs on wix. I don’t use that platform, so I can’t do a video on it.

As I live in Ireland and not very good at travelling it is unlikely that I will ever get to attend one of your workshops. I do love your down to earth advice though so enjoy your videos. The question I have is how do you find out all the different rates of postal charges? e.g as I am in Ireland would I have one rate for Europe and another for the rest of the world? I sent a small 12" x 16" painting to a client in Denmark last year and the shipping cost was 45 euros so quite pricey.

Diane Howe Art it takes work - just like everything else about being an artist! You have to do research on rates and determine what will work best for your needs. Depending on your website payment system set up, you may be able to use automatic pricing from the carriers, although unlikely.

Hello my website is through Wix and I was wondering if you had any advice on how to set up my shipping cost of already got some of my artwork weighed and got a quote on pricing but I’m still really confused what to do

Joiesartstudio, shipping will depend on large part whee you live and the size of your work. Here’s how I started. I live on the east coast, so I went to the UPS website and put in the size and weight of each size painting and got an estimated shipping cost for each size to the middle of the country, knowing that if I ship to the east coast I may make a little on shipping and shipping to the west coast I may lose a little. I put that info into my website for my shipping costs for each piece. Inputting the info is going to be different for each website platform, so I cannot tell you how to do it in Wix. They should have some info in there for you as part of the operation of the platform. If you have a very sophisticated platform system, you may be able to get actual costs from carriers whenever someone orders something - sometimes this is available in the high end commerce platform packages. Hope this helps.
