Lucky indeed!! was never privileged enough to see them live, but so spot on with your comment, the guy was in a class of his own ❤a proper musician 👌with raw talent, unfortunately legends like Stuart don’t exist anymore 😊

Check this out, I’m a hard rock guy and my friend is a heavy metal guy and he comes up to me at work and hands me a cassette with 5 Big Country songs on it and it freaked me out. I had only heard In a Big Country on MTV and I didn’t like it. So that night I put the cassette in and the 5 songs were King of Emotion, You Dreamer, 13 Valley’s, Peace In Our Time, and Alone. The guitar work blew my head off. I just kept playing that cassette over and over and turning it up louder each time. I’m 63 years old now and a lifelong music collector. Stuart Adamsson is in my top 10 of guitar players I’ve ever heard and I have heard over 100,000 guitar players. My friend who gave me that cassette, he is in the top 10 best guitarist I’ve ever heard as well, I should have known Big Country would kick my ass. What a special band. I live in Kentucky and I know there’s at least two people in Kentucky that are ape poop crazy about Big Country. They are always in my regular rotation and I still cry sometimes when I listen to Stuart play his guitar. Thank you for blessing me so much Stuart, I love you.

The best live band I ever saw. Wonderful. This performance has me in tears every time. Saw Bruce, his talented son, and Mark last year at Minehead Giants of Rock. Loved the way they still set up Stuart's mic and stand, as though he is still with us. Or will suddenly turn up and play. The lad obviously had problems, but thank you Stuart Adamson for touching my life, and bringing joy to it.
