Re kindled my love of BC ( didn't take long) at the begining of the 'plandemic' and have played everything they did continuously since, i'm almost 64 and have come to appreciate the lyrics so much more, i do believe Stuart knew the awful and sinister things going on in this world and a lot of it is very apt to the times we're currently living in. God bless you brother for all the truth and beauty you left with us ❤

I feel lucky grown up listening to this band. I have been a fan since I was a child, my mum liked this band. Stuart Adamson had a amazing talent that will never be forgotten. Big Country rock!

One of the things that have endeared Big Country to me has been how Stuart's voice doesn't lose his accent in the songs. And it gives their music a real soul of its own, which very few singers/bands can truly achieve.

The world's a darker place with Stuart no longer in it... Forget Robert Burns, Stuart was & remains Scotland's poet laureate.

I've only recently done a deep dive into this band, after knowing In A Big Country for years and years. I'm almost depressed knowing how long I went thinking these guys were just another one hit wonder 80s band, not even knowing the extent of their catalog and their huge following. I've only been a "big fan" for the last few months, but I can only think of one other band that has hit me so deep so fast as I've explored their work, and that's Iron Maiden when I was a teen in the late 90s. I feel so lucky to have heard not just their albums, but all the rarities and live shows on youtube. It brings me to tears seeing Stuart and knowing he's been gone for so long, with so many of his lyrics taking on new meaning after his passing

BIG COUNTRY is one of my all-time favourite bands. I adore the music. This is the last song of a long list by the band dedicated to my nephew Mario. Showing him the paths to new directions. HM is not the world has to give.

Thank you so much for adding this. I've listened to CD track countless times and never heard this version, with the lyrics "Now I find myself, far off the beaten track, with the wind in my face, the sun upon my back." I am so glad I found it, and grateful to you, because this extra vision in what's become a very familiar song, opened a new meaning for me. Since I'll never have seen/heard this live, you've preserved something beautiful and far too fleeting.

This band was so tight that all it takes is the slightest nod of Stuart's head at :22 for Mark to begin the song. Shows just how well these awesome artists played together.
