I watched this video because I use Shipt to have my groceries delivered 1-2 times a week and I wanted to understand how hard my shoppers work and what they are paid so that I know my tips are fair! I definitely tip more when I get more updates and someone goes above and beyond for me (asking for an item they can’t find, offering substitutes for out of stock items, being quick / delivering early etc). And of course kindness. I appreciate kindness and professionalism ❤.

I’ve been using this Shipt app as a side hustle doing $100/day goal and I’m telling you, it is the best supplemental income in my region. I work a part time job in the hospital whiling doing this 2-3 hours a day for my $100/hr. I only done 300+ orders thus far but I know the in’s and the out’s of the app in my metro that doesn’t even offer alcohol delivery. I can easily make over a 1,000 bux a week if I do it full time. So Shipt is a 10 out of 10 for me!

I’ve been a driver for 5 years . I’ve worked with Uber , door dash , Instacart and now shipt. In 2020 my husband and I bought our first home . Brand new built . And last week we closed on our second home . Which hasn’t been built yet . Driving has allowed me To be with my son more and still make money . Enough to buy two homes ! My husband is a local truck driver. Our houses will be our investments, and in about 2 more years we want to buy a 3rd. Driving is not something that should be forever, but figure out a plan to save your money and make a better life for yourself. The money is great!

It's not all sunshines and daisy's as she is talking about, the most frustrating thing is when customers take too long to respond to substitutions.... if they are taking too long and waiting for a sub just mark not found... you shouldn't wait around if they are not going to respond...

Ugh literally this lady made me walk to the chip isle 6 times!! To retell her what ruffles they had and what size 💀 then I had to ask 2 workers for some cookies that they didn’t even know existed I even asked the lady where she got them and she said “idk I got them their before it’s in plastic” so then they had to call someone and guess what! It was in one singular checkout lane. So annoying.

I got a 1* from a new customer because an item was out of stock and it was a do not substitute. I took a picture and submitted it on delivery of the two in stock items that were delivered. But the customer said an item was missing because they didn’t understand it was out of stock.

I just started shopping today. 7 Orders, $117.90 and still waiting to see if any of the 5 people who haven't tipped yet will do so later. Still $117.90 for 7 small item orders on my first day, not bad. My ratings 4.90, on time 92 */. , Reliablity 100 */. , Completion 100 */. I'm happy with that. I was doing mostly promo orders cause people wern't picking them up. I'd get back to the store and now it's a promo order.

Nah you’re choosing the wrong orders and locations. Tips alone will bring you more money and less work than Amazon Flex. A great idea is to provide above average customer service. Amazon Flex you’ll deliver 40 plus packages to forty different customers and locations in a four to five hour shift for $125 if (it’s a huge if) you can beat the bots $165.

I’ve done over 60 deliveries in two weeks for Shipt and over 400 for Amazon Flex in 3wks made the same amount of money 😂 40 deliveries for Jitsu in two days because they don’t pay well enough for my sized vehicle. Instead they increased the amount of boxes but not the price. It would be enough if the pickup was nearby. But back to your question. No tip just look for what works for you. I’m a natural customer forward kind of guy. So I’m constantly speaking to the customers on every app. That is where your money is!

Not worth it in my area, not too many offers close to my area, plus you have to go fishing for offers because a lot of Shipt shoppers are waiting when offers drops every hour. It’s like a first come, first serve basis. You have to work long hours just to make your quota if you’re aiming your target amount. If you’re a family person, it’s not a advisable. THE WORST PART avoid orders with cases of waters and beverages especially if you deliver it in a 5th floor apartment.

Offers drop at a specific time? I always wondered why I never saw orders until I saw a lot. What’s that about? I never see orders and if I do they’re only $8. Is it because I’m not getting as many as them due to being a beginner? Do I not see the tips until after I accept/finish?

Man Target pre paid customers don’t tip on the Friday before Christmas. The only customers that tipped were ones that were non prepaid. All the prepaid ones didn’t tip. It is so weird because I delivered to this customer and I delivered to them before on a different app and they tip very nicely. No tip on Target pre paid. Crap!!!

Be careful with using the App and make sure you can complete the orders on time. If you are late, they will permanently deactivate your account (fire) you in an email with no warning and with no forgiveness or second chances.

Sometimes the items will not be where it says on the app. Speak with a team member and the customer. Sometimes the customer will know exactly where these items are located as well.
