Brilliant story i remember 1st seeing it on the bus from costa teguise to puerto del carmen and was amazed to see this big rusting hulk

Hi Mike that's very interesting about the ship the ship..and amazed that the captain and crew were able to run the ship aground without polluting the sea with its oils..and all crew got off safe and sound..that's brilliant..Mike is that ship still beached in arreciffe..1954 was it .a treasure from the past..great interesting video as always Mike look forward to your next one cheers colette from trim 😊😊

An interesting video. I would just like to point out that the second photo, at 0.12 secs, is not the same ship. That one is the 'Telamon' of the well known Blue Funnel Line of Liverpool. Actually a contemporary, but different ship.

@@LanzaroteInformation Thank you again! It's only because I was a crew member of the 'late great Blue Funnel Line' that I noticed. All your other photos show the Telamon lost on Lanzarote. Blue Funnel ships were all named after characters in The Odyssey, so also popular names with Greek shipowners.
