Creepy how Blot has human eyes but all other character's eyes are hollow, not to mention the incision on his back like he had been operated on

It's because Blot has an actual human corpse inside him (Rex's corpse) unlike the other who actually fused with the suits

@@BloomyCatail Yeah.. I hate that part the most. His left eye is made up of teeth and flesh. I think the "incision" on his back is actually what used to be the zipper... because we know now that it used to be a costume. I physically cannot bring myself to perform around layer three because I'm genuinely terrified of what lies there. I've been playing Stumbler's nice ending every time I restart because the thought of those *things* is horrifying. The pause menu in horror games is always my safe spot, and they've ripped that from me. I can't quit on a whim if I get too scared. I can't stop them. I got to A Helping Nub (Stumbler and Wulf's website) and immediately quit. This story is so disturbing and fucked up. I was never scared of FNAF, Crow64, nothing. But THIS got me. I could hardly bring myself to just get to layer 2. Olive scared me so hard. When she follows you in the minigames. She startles me every time, even if I know she's going to be there. The thought of not being able to proceed without the safety of a pause menu is almost more scary than the characters themselves. The psychological horror that brings is much more than any other aspect of the game aside from sheer lore. And never, in my entire fucking life, have I been more scared of an otter.

@alex2drip4you I gotta applaud you for being transparent about this game. Ain't it creepy how the monsters turn their heads around just to look at you? The player. You're braver than me... I dont think my heart can take any horror game so I wouldn't dare play any. And when I mean heart, I mean the one pumping in my chest. I'm kinda worried I might disrupt it. I can watch someone play it tho. I've only played dungeon nightmares tho. That's it. Wasn't that scary

The starlings are horrifying. Their bodies are constantly reforming through polygonal messes, instantly signaling that they’re not supposed to be in this game. Music frantically plays as they give chase. They look so unnatural, and the fact their teeth glow and flicker really doesn’t help. The scariest part of all is that the pause menu doesn’t save you. What would normally be something that would immediately stop you from dying in any game with an active threat hunting you down is powerless against them.

I think the worst part is not even the slowed down duck and cover theme that plays, it’s each of their idle sounds that scare me. Something about having garbled radio tracks and voice lines playing scare the daylights out of me. Especially Walter’s idle lines….

Their heads also turn where the camera goes too. It's freaky. Like they are looking at the player playing the game.

Something i noticed by reversing the audio of starling olives idle animation is that its actually her phone call she makes right before shes murdered but chopped up. you can hear the answering machine voice followed by her saying "i dont know what to do". in this form she's reliving that moment at all times.

If I remember correctly, those are also his voice lines from the first version of Shipwrecked 64 where the game had some voice acting.

So it wasn't "Stay of the way" thanks for deciphering what he said, but I'm right now trying to find out the song at the end of walter's idle sound. I now found out that Squeaks used the Nuclear war ad song "Duck and Cover", I know he used a song in the first version of the game called "Sebald". I'm also trying to find out the song to Blot's idle sound as well.

this isnt all of the jumpscares in the game, there are rare occurences where you get jumpscared with Olivia's face instead of Olive Otter. I wonder if its the same for the others

The death animations are reversals of what bucky did to the starlings. Olive/Oliva Was drown so the film fades and washes away Giovanni/Gary Was cooked, so the animation has the film burn at the top Walter/Nathan was beaten with a chair, so bucky is put in the same position Blot/rex has difficult lore implications however it sees a tombstone with two people by it. I think those are supposed to be his characters blot, and bucky, mirroring the story of the thing that became two. I have not seen bucky's animation so if anyone knows the story behind it i'd be glad to hear.

This is seriously terrifying. The way you get a quick jumpscare when they see you, and the garbled looped sounds coming from them is awful to hear. But my least favorite part is the haunting looped music that plays when they chase you, its so god damn unnerving ughghggn!

The jumpscare screens is pretty cool. Olive shows water, because Olivia died by drowning on a lake. Giovanni shows I guess some kind of wall, because Connor died by having his head smashed against a wall. Walter shows Bucky, who killed Gary by strangling his neck and beating him with a chair. And Rex/Blot shows a grave, because Rex worked on the Starling project, a fusion of the flesh and a suit in order to bring people *back from the dead.*

Chief wulf and stumbler represent a wife and husband. I don’t remember who but I think it was whoever worked at cogware (the wolf) and their very ill wife (stumbler). The wife died from illness and the husband from his own ways. The thing that separates them is that they didn’t die from a starling which meant they didn’t get forced to become hybrids with their suits.

I'm too much of a pussy to finish the game. When I was playing it blind on my own I was hoping there wouldn't be jumpscares bc they, for me, are a make and break for a game. I love everything about the game and was having a blast, but the simple jumps just because they decide to look in my direction killed my enjoyment.

I love for the three of the starlings they have the way they died in their jumpscare like Olive or Olivia was drowned in a lake Giovanni or Gary was smashed against a microwave and got their face put into a deep fat fryer and it shows some little buttons from a deep fat fryer I guess and for Walter or Nathan it's Bucky himself because he was beaten to death by Bucky or Brandon in the Bucky costume and I don't know what else means for Bucky/Brandon but for blot or rex it just shows his face and then after that it's his tombstone because he died from natural causes and these are really scary and epic jumpscares. 👍👍👍

I just got suddenly jumpscared by Walter Walrus without realizing a jumpscare could happen. I was so caught off guard I immediately said "Oh! Damn!" and hid. I think I get why Night Mind did not want to spoil much to me.
