Shires TRQ10S & Edwards Gen II

Two excellent horns are played here; the Shires TRQ10S. This Shires is quite a bit like a Bach Strad. The bell is unique, but to me it's kind of like a cross between a Strad 37 and 43. Great sounding horn!! Then I also play an Edwards Gen II. What a magnificent trumpet. Big bell, large bore, yet one of the easiest horns I've ever played. Just a magnificent horn in every way. The Shires doesn't sound as good as the Edwards. Maybe you were a bit more warmed up but the Shires is a good comparison to a Bach strad sound wise; it's tinny...😢

Most of my horns sound a bit brassy when compared to the Edwards. What a beast their Gen II is! :)
