I remember buying the soundtrack to "Diamonds Are Forever". The combination of John Barry's composition and orchestration plus Shirley Bassey's powerful vocals are still worth anything I have (time or money) to listen to it. I am 70 years old; and have been a SB fan for more than 50 years! When she recorded the theme for 'Goldfinger' I was so enamored with her triple-time powerful voice; and then she comes along later with 'Diamonds Are Forever'...and I am still just speechless! I have often wondered ow they would sound, if she had done themes for 'You Only Live Twice,' and 'Never Say Never Again,' instead of Nancy Sinatra and Lani Hall??
