Now that might have Chris at lonestar Grillz cry. That is an awesome build love the firebox. Definitely worth every dollar with 3/8 “ you will need to put that in the will because everyone will want that handed down. And as for the linseed oil it looks better and darker with each seasoning you do. Hope you have hired more workers to handle the volume for that model.

Looks great, looks just like a Workhorse 1975 clone, with a few different touches. (That’s not a knock as the workhorse 1975 is a great pit) Never seen a hinge like that for the stack, curious how that will handle all the weight, as it looked a little unstable/wobbly folding it. But I’ve never seen or used that style in person and could be completely wrong. I like the folding shelf option, only thing I would say is it needs to be about half the depth, so you can open the door easier, as you showed in the video, pretty hard to open the door all the way up and reach the top when the shelf is sticking that far out. I’m sure the welds/fit and finish is top notch, pit looks great.

Thx and the stack is stable i just need to tighten it up.... i am short and most can easily get the door no problem..... but yep i can in the future make a little adjustment.... tx Paul

Hello Sir, For this exact model, what is the price?

Hey Paul I just emailed you about a smoker but it replied you are no longer accepting inquiries. Is that true? It said email Tyler should I email him?

What's the purpose for different options and prices with Paul vs Tyler on the cookers each on builds?
@scottkazmier4202 жыл бұрын
So you can get what you want. They give you a lot of options to make it custom unlike a lot of other builders. You may not like what I have or what I want so you can upgrade and add it to your likes. The only regret I have on mine is not getting a straight back model. I have the 24x 36 patio model and love it. Worth the wait and every penny I spent on it.
@larryfavorite91002 жыл бұрын
@@scottkazmier420 having options you can pick from I understand but Paul stated in this video and others videos that he puts a 2 inch drain on his cookers and Tyler puts a 1 1/2 on his. Paul also stated that Tyler might charge a different price for the same cooker that Paul builds. Just not understanding why they put different materials for the same cookers or charge a different price for the same cookers built by either Paul vs Tyler.

@@larryfavorite9100 none of my business but I'm curious too. Did Tyler buy a portion of the buisness
@scottkazmier4202 жыл бұрын
@@larryfavorite9100 I gotcha. I miss understood. I think they are technically two different companies. I know I got mine from Tyler. One mite have. Longer wait list. But I’m not sure. It’s worth the wait. I’m emailing Tyler about getting a 24/36 straight back as of today and see how long a wait. My 24/36 will be for sale in middle Tennessee

i work full time in a refinery a 4 on 4 off shift and i build on my off days..... Tyler is the owner of Shirley fabrication, the sole owner now.... i have input in some things as i have been in the fabricating business for 40 years.... i use a 2 inch drain because that is what was available..... its just the route i go.... in the grand scheme of things the difference is a 2 in ch drain and a 1-1/2 inch drain is only 1/2 inch.... kinda like splitting hairs..... as far as pricing Tyler has 8 guys to pay... a new shop and on and on...it's just me and sometimes a helper.... so there it is.... THANK gOD AS OF NOW WE LIVE IN A FREE COUNTRY AND PEOPLE HAVE THE CHOICE AS TO DO AS THEY WANT TO....so there it is, there is much more to it but that is the nuts and bolts of it
