Nice review! I got the knife center exclusive Neon NL and I don’t have the detention issue as yours. Now I only edc either neon or halftack. The action is one of the best among xm-18/arius i owned. I guess detent problem could just be a batch to batch variation. And about the milling, I guess the lack of milling of NL could be a weight concern. The weight centers perfectly in the middle without integral backspacer. However I do prefer the backspacer of neon zero which make knife fill more premium.
