This is actually a glitch in the Sonic 1 & 2 mobile ports. In order to do this glitch, you need debug mode. And in order to access debug mode, you’ll need a “No Save Mode” for it to work. Then, tap “S, E, G, A” in the correct order. If you did it correctly, you should hear a ring sound. Then, hold your two fingers on the screen while the game loads up. You’ll be sent to the level select. Next, go to sound test and type in “01, 09, 09, 01, 00, 06, 02, 03”. You’ll get debug mode. Now for the next step, go to any level and spawn a S Monitor. It’s meant for Super Sonic. Now when you break the monitor, quickly debug, then Sonic will become yellow, he’ll still lose rings, jump high, and run fast. This is also a glitch in the original Sonic the Hedgehog 3, you’ll need to be in Hydrocity Zone (Act 2). When you get sucked up by Eggman’s machine, Sonic will become yellow again. He won’t lose rings, jump high, or move fast.
