You can now be Super and Hyper Sonic in Sonic 1, thanks to Clownacy! It also includes a few extra options and features! You could call this Super Sonic 1! Or Hyper Sonic 1!
Knuckles' Chaotix Super music instructions via Clownacy:
With Kega Fusion, set an MegaCD (SegaCD) BIOS in the settings, then you need to edit Fusion.ini so CartBootEnabled is set to 1.
Then you open the game as if it's a MegaCD (SegaCD) game, press CTRL+B, and the game will reset in mode 1.

I think Eggman's eyes were yellow because they likely share sonic's color palette, which at the time was yellow. That's probably why they changed Eggman's eyes to black in sonic 2.
