The majority of the people dunk the barracks in the yogurt they let them boil with it they don't premake them and then put them in the yogurt but it's alright both ways

Few tips on mastering this dish: 1- add water and corn starch to your yogurt before heating the yogurt 2-keep stirring the yogurt on high heat, and move the spoon in big circles, then smaller circles (if you don't stir it, the yogurt will break and the dish will be clumps of yogurt which doesn't leave a pleasant feeling in the mouth 3- dont put the dumplings in the oven. You need the dough to be gooey. So, only cook it in the yogurt

We normally boil them and then dip them into the cooked yogurt. I don't think baking them tastes good😢and don't use garlic😢it is not authentic, but I don't blame you. I am happy you tried it. Thank u

I'm Syrian, many people like to add fried garlic on top, it depends on preference
