It's a natural human reaction, though, some people replace fear with adrenaline and get boners from being at extreme heights or endorphin, which I believe is the pleasure drug your brain releases to calm the body. If humans were meant to fly, we'd have wings, as they say. But, dying an excruciatingly embarrassing death is the worse. Like living long enough to be whiny, crapping yourself after you die, or trying to achieve something pointless like thinking that you have good enough reflexes to jump over a speeding car because your friends dared you.

I watched this video right before going to bed last night. I had a dream where me and two other guys went to this abandoned underground research facility on a deserted planet. I don't know why exactly we were there, but once we got the power going we saw three other military personal in the building, so we set up an ambush on the second floor. They caught on to us and ambushed us instead. As we were fighting an alarm went off, and some machine we were unaware of started to meltdown. We all abandoned our duty and looked for escape pods. I managed to make it to one, it had two sets of doors, an outer and an inner door for sanitation I suppose. Just as the pod closed, one of the enemy soldiers ran in past the first set of doors, pressed himself up against the window to the cockpit and started crying and begging to let him him. The pod started to launch into the atmosphere just as the explosion rocked the area. I had to watch as the soldier, not protected by half of the radiation prevention material, literally melted before my eyes. He didn't go slow, no he died crying as he turned into a puddle. As I float through the black abyss, waiting for the pods SOS signal to be received and rescue to come, I hear a voice. An ominous voice that creeps up the back of my mind. It says "We warned you, what was on that planet was never meant to be disturbed. You are now cursed, you will watch as everyone you ever meet dies." And then I woke up, so thanks for that.

Sharks are majestic as fuck. And, I can relate to being fascinated with space. Though, rather than fear it, I welcome the idea of humanity being able to explore the vast cosmos freely. For a chance to drift wherever I want and settle down where I please in the universe, with the least amount of human contact as possible, while meeting different sentient alien races more or less advanced as human is an unfortunate fantasy that won't be achieved any time soon or even within a few lifetimes. That being said, the ocean itself is definitely horrifying. More so if you just rest on your back and float, while staring at the sky. Because underneath you, beneath the waters, anything can decide to simply kill you at a moment's notice. You won't see Death coming, but you know it's somewhere around you. Plus, freezing to death would suuuuuck.

P4ntless Ninja Fast movement is one that frequently freaks me out. I've never been on a roller coaster, but I probably wouldn't like it. I even have problems with swingsets. Swings are really fun, but I also get very nervous and queasy when I swing forward and the wind rushes into my face. I usually have to close my eyes tightly.
