Following the phenomenally-received Tranquilitas album from Numa label, we bring you "Kura Kura“; a collaboration between the Swedish-Chilean singer, Kama Lila Sol, and multi-instrumentalist and producer, Baptiste Sejourne.
Combining the electric cello, this ethnic downtempo EP fuses electronic music with traditional elements, evoking a sense of serenity and grounding. When I first listened to this piece and saw the video I immediately started analyzing how everything moves and everything is connected: the trees, the roots, the leaves. That is exactly how the music makes you fill, like we are one with the universe. Besides, how the sparks of the fire spread upwards made me think of the fire and that so called “spark” we have deep into our souls.

Thank you so much for making music like this. I call it the dance of mother nature and her kids. It inspires me to move forward in my work, in sustainable development and environmental policy. Music such as this conects us with mother nature, makes us feel that we are all one. For so many years we live with an anthropocentric point of view that we are at the top of the pyramid and therefore can exploit nature as it pleases.
