My FAVORITE thing as a kid was the little strawberry patch on the arm thing, I would beg people to do it in 3rd grade, probably just early onset ASMR

I never relate to people who commented for asmrtists to make more of this sound, but now I found one that I would really love for you to do more of! Thank you for the work you put into your videos and helping us all relax Kelly :)

Mine was Going on a treasure hunt, X marks the spot. Three big boulders and one tiny dot Spiders crawling up your back, they bite you they bite you Blood running down blood running down Cool breeze Tight squeeze And now you've got the shiveries
@AphroditeRose0010 ай бұрын
Everyone y'all gotta get someone to look this up along with movements and do it to you. You can kinda just make up the movements but here are the movements I remember. X marks the spot: You make a big X on their back. Dot dot dot/dash dash dash/circle/dot/question mark: You lightly poke their back with each dot and make a dash with each dash and then make a circle dot and question mark all on their back. Spiders and snakes: You spider creep your fingers up their back then snake sliver them down. Knife in back/blood rushes down: You make your fist like your holding a knife and "stab" them, then run your fingers down their back like your fingers are blood running down Cool breeze: You blow on their neck in a back and forth motion. Tight squeeze: You squeeze both their shoulders like a massage. Now you got the shiveries: You kinda just run your fingers all over their neck, back, shoulders. And there are so many various different little things you can do. There are a few videos on KZbin they have people showing how they do it too.

This brought me back to summer camp and about 7 of us kids all lined up doing this on eachother at the same time. Can you imagine being an adult walking past a line of kids saying "knives going in your back, blood running down" over and over like children of the corn 😂😂😂
@AphroditeRose0010 ай бұрын
I learned this at camp too. :) A Christian camp to be precise so we always made sure no one was around. I also remember the girls in my cabin and me would wait till our cabin guardian (who was like 18 herself) to fall asleep and sneak out of the cabin and meet boys and girls from other cabins and do little fun stuff like this, your momma jokes and fun conversations. It was all pretty innocent stuff but it felt so freeing as a sheltered religious 12 year old. Meeting the boys at night just to talk felt so scandalous. Such fun innocent memories that put a smile on my face.

This is much more advanced than what we used to do in uk primary school. We just had “line” (you drew a vertical line down their back) “dot” a touch between the shoulders and then “electric shock” where you’d jab your first fingers as hard as you could into the person’s sides and they’d jump out of their skin

I don't know if anyone knows it but when I was at camp as a preteen a girl did a crack an egg trigger very similar to this one but it had something to do with "around the world?", "Sailing around the world ?", " sailing around an island?" or something like that. I've never been able to find the exact one she did. It was the first time I remember getting tingles from something other then someone playing with my hair.

It's funny to me that after watching enough ASMR with these triggers, the version I grew up with seems uncommon and is "The Chillies" instead of "The Shiveries" and has a few differences! "Going on a treasure hunt, X marks the spot, four big boulders, one little rock. WIth a [something], a [something], and a tropical breeze, now you've got... the chillies!" I can't remember those couple of words anymore, but you get the idea lol. I wonder if they were "circle" and "dash" or something similar.

It's interesting to see a very different version from the way I learned it growing up. "X marks the spot, with a circle and a dot. Spiders crawling up; spiders crawling down; spiders crawling up. Ow, you got a bite. Feel the blood drip down, feel the blood drip down. Squeeze some oranges on your shoulders; feel the juice drip down. Squeeze some oranges on your shoulders; feel the juice drip down. Needles in your neck and a knife in your back. Feel the blood drip down, feel the blood drip down. {I think there was something else here, but I can't remember what} Tight squeeze and a cold breeze. Now you got the shiveries"
