I was also raised catholic and am born again. When I went to Calvary Chapel in the 70s it caused problems with my parents. So I continued to go with them to Church and go to Calvary. It was hard on them for me to tell them things I learned that went against their faith. I am still going to a Calvary Church. Praise God he is so good.

Remember....you are in a win-win situation always, as long as you put the Lord Jesus, Father God and the Holy Spirit first. All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose: Romans 8:28. The Lord Jesus sees the whole situation from beginning to end, we never know what he is doing in the situation, so even though it appears you lost, you didn't. Our job is to trust the Lord that no matter what he is working in our behalf, case in point....the demons rejoiced when they thought they killed Jesus, but what they didn't know is they played right into God's hand, their was a reason that he (Jesus) died, to set all men free, so just because the outcome was not what you expected, and it didn't go the way you thought, or maybe prayed....trust him, he's got a bigger plan in mind. Trust always no matter what, don't loose faith. Trust and belief go together hand in hand. we walk by faith not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). Our job is to trust the Lord no matter what. A prayer you can pray is....I don't know how you are going to get me out of this and through this...but I trust you and believe you....(it works!). See what he does on your behalf! Stand and Believe, trust his word over man's word.

Jesus was subtle but very clear that Mary Magdalene was chosen by him to serve as an apostle therefore there would be no grounds for a case based upon conjecture. I did not finish watching this movie because there are no grounds according to Catholic/religious law as well as U.S. law that could change the Catholic religion. Ancient writings could have a chance at changing the rules of a Church if people believed they were factually based and not forged. Unfortunately, in 2024 how can anyone prove a fact? U.S. federal government has two Congressional members and ten Representatives that adhere to religious beliefs instructing them to not believe facts.

Jesus appointed Peter head of HIS church- “ thou art Peter and upon this rock I shall build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” There is a direct line of successors ( Popes) all the way to the present one. We’ve had good Popes, bad ones, bad and good priests etc but we have stood as the catholic faith for over 2000 years. If you really , sincerely want to know the true church, you need to ask the Holy Spirit and He will lead you to the truth. Happy journey. I’ve studied my faith fir 70’of my 76 years. He didn’t literally hand over the keys to Simon Peter and tell him, “Here you go, mate, you can handle the Church and I’ll just be in the corner with a lager top.” He said, “Upon this rock I will build MY church……” marking the start of the Christian faith under Him. The rest kicked off from there. The Catholic Church wasn’t founded until Emperor Constantine came along 300 years later and established it by merging Roman values. That’s probably where the idol worship came in, and lots of other denominations were uprooted, the divisions which Jesus prophesied in Matthew 6. Even if you advised us to look at the ministries of the early church fathers you’d still need to take a trip back 2,000 years and carry out a survey. They’d all tell you different. If Christ wanted a Pope to sit on a chair, He’d probably change the covenant to include a Roman numeral or something, but He didn’t. None of the church fathers He appointed were golden-top Popes - they were only appointed DISCIPLES or PREACHERS. Only papal offices tied to the mafia do that. Side note: God’s Word doesn’t support purgatory and prayers for the dead as much as Calvinists support perseverance of the saints in their TULIP system.

Jesus told the women to "go tell the OTHERS that he has risen." At that time, there were only a few in a "congregation," and I guarantee that Jesus was making a point since "the church" refused to listen to him. Scripture is not 100 percent clear on every single detail, but if one chooses to use any critical thi king skills, the reader can see what Jesus was implying. - And he had to use that tactic since most people flat out refused to listen to him. One again, an Apostle is also a missionary and guess what? Had it not been for God pitting mainly tow women in my life at a certain type (out of a group of six women overall) I...never would have come to know who Jesus is! NO MEN were involved and Jesu shoe to work with me in this fashion since men in church are simply too domineering, sexist and hypocrites by all of them eventually getting caught in fornication with their girlfriends...and TRST ME! This Movie interested me mainly due to the Fact it took place in Louisiana, yet the Courts arguments disturbed me over Male vs. Female. She displayed a more consistent Christian desire than her Male counterparts, there was an arrogance about them that made me almost feel ill; Priest displaying things like Smoking and Drinking allowed me to Believe they had NOT overcome the worldly nature and were unwilling to allow God through the Holy Spirt to Rid their Lives of such things. I believe a good scripture to have used would have been Galatians 3:23 thru 29, Before the coming of this Faith we were held in custody under the Law, locked up until the Faith that was to come would be revealed. So the Law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. Now that this Faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian. So in Christ Jesus you are all Children of God through Faith, for all of you who were Baptized into Christ have Clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither Slave nor Free, nor is there Male nor Female, for you are All one in Christ Jesus, If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's Seed, and Heirs according to the Promise. I Conclude God the Lord Jesus Christ doesn't identify with any One Segment of the Church but now LOOKS into the Hearts, Minds, Souls of everyone on EARTH, so by all means Women should be allowed to be Priest along with Men of this Earth; her Love for God shinned through, Her Love for all Mankind was more inline with how Christ would have transformed us to be more like Him.

​@@saxmanjpr5092Culture may change, but neither God nor His word does. The Holy Spirit intending His scriptures to transcend time, allowed Apostle Paul to pen that verse, exactly that way. Men are ordained to be the spiritual leaders (or heads if you would) in the Bride of Christ. Women aren't barred from sharing the gospel. In fact, all believers are called to do just that. The Church, as every other institutions, has order. We read in the Bible that God is a God or order. In His Omniscience, and being the founder of this institution called the Church, He's spelt out His order: women aren't supposed to occupy places of authority (the presbytery to be precise, because a women's group leader is a place of authority, just so we're clear) in the Church! Let's just stick to biblical texts and not try to contemporarize them as it were.

😞 It's VERY sad. Prayers to Mary are in vain. THE ONLY way we are to pray is through and to Jesus Christ. Yes, she was especially chosen to carry Jesus in her womb. This has NEVER made her someone we are to pray to. JESUS is the One Who intercedes on our behalf. I mean no disrespect, yet it is FUTILE to rattle off monotone, recited words as each bead of a rosary is touched. I grew up in a Catholic household. I literally felt physical oppression upon my shoulders as I spoke recited prayers in and outside of the church. There was a wrenching in my gut during Reconciliation and Confirmation. God was VIVIDLY conveying that it was not His Way as I prayed for wisdom and direction. He revealed clearly that the SHAME taught in Catholicism is NOT of Him but of Satan. Invited by my brother at 24 to attend a Bible teaching, non-denominational, Christian church, it was only THEN that an actual relationship with God began and developed as I sought Him. I miss NOTHING of the Catholic church and all it's required acts and sacraments. NONE of those things bring about a relationship with God, and NONE of those things are requirements for salvation. Only the belief in Jesus' death and resurrection, which brings forth repentance, is what saves any one from hell. (Baptism is a byproduct of salvation; it's all over the Bible) Thank God He lead me out of there and in to a genuine relationship with Himself... where there is TRUE peace to be found even amidst ALL the strife and chaos in this world. 🙏🏽

😞 This is a touchy subject. As is stated at approximately 15:02, it comes down to GOD's laws. This actually isn't about worldly discrimination. While women have and continue to contribute in directing others to Christ, the Bible is very clear on roles and titles for each men and women. This is not about disobeying 'Church Doctrine,' as is stated in the movie. It's directly going against God's instructions. True, He created us equal... He also clearly created us for varying roles as His followers. The way the world is placing titles and labels on people only stirs up pride and strife. I agree. Just because a woman is not the leader in a priestly fashion does not make her unequal. God has a line of leadership: God , the man, the woman, and the children. That does not mean one is less equal than the other. The world has equal rights all messed up. We are equally human beings with different roles. I am a woman and I can do things men can't do and weren't made to do. God made us special. Why would I want to give that up for a man's position. Was not impressed at all with this movie and her desire was not God's will because it was contrary to His Word.

Os the easiest way to avoid that fishing is to start your own ministry or "denomination number 44,001." - I am ing that in my own life. I believe that a man can be a leader in a women's bible study. No church denomination will ever support me on this, so I am starting that ministry ON MY OWN, just like Martin Luther simply left the Catholic church and stated his own ministry instead of fighting them! One thing this movie showed is the way many are if an idea a woman could ever preach the gospel or have her own ministry. Yes I will say as a daughter of God who follows His word and Holy Spirit there are some religious things within the movie but if you take your focus off that and see the big picture you will know that women are looked down for preaching because it’s wrong when God never said. I am a woman who preach the gospel. I speak In God’s word and I know this what he has called me to do not just to women but men too. There is power in God’s word and when we preach it many will be touch and save. Of course she didn’t continue on the path as a priest in the movie but I know her actions will cause many young women to step up. The truth is when God calls you then you go out in faith preaching now if this wasn’t a catholic movie and another Christian denomination it would still be the same reaction and many will call her out so overall still the same but different. I will not let no man stop me from being use by God. I have seen God move and many be touch and souls save which I have lead them. In the Bible, Book of Galatians, it is written that in Christ there is no male or female. The Bible also states that when a man and woman marry they become one in the Lord. In addition the Bible states that in Heaven there is no marriage of man to a woman, but that Jesus Himself will take Christians as His bride. Doesn't that mean, then, that both male and female will be married to Jesus? Since according to the Catholic Church women cannot be pastors, does the Church believe that men cannot be the Bride of Christ (men are not allowed to marry men) in their way of determining male and female differences? As a Christian we grow in our faith, in the understanding of what the Bible is teaching us. Is there a Christian among us who has never come to realize at some point that they had misunderstood something the Bible was saying? Just think for a moment how many things the Catholic Church itself has changed in their own beliefs or understandings. Let us continue to seek God in Spirit and in Truth. We should all want what God wants. Let us stay in prayer to continue to grow in the grace of the Lord.

SHOULD WOMEN BE PRIESTS? ANYONE CONFUSED ABOUT THIS ISSUE? The spirit of the world, the flesh and the devil will tell you "yes, women should be priests ... we are created equal!" But this misses the whole point of the Priesthood. It has nothing to do with equality. Mary, the Mother of Jesus, is the Mother of the Church, and the Holiest creature who ever lived. She is Queen of Heaven and Earth, and of all priests. But she wasn't ordained a priest because that would have thwarted her very high calling as a woman. Many who are confused on this issue, are misperceiving the unique roles of priests and consecrated women. "God's ways are not our (fallen) ways." The priest acts "in persona Christi", in particular during Holy Mass and Confession. Christ is the Divine Bridegroom, we the Church are the Bride of Christ. It is not surprising in our time, with such gender confusion of male and female roles, that this confusion would infiltrate the Church. The primary role of consecrated women is to be the "bride of Christ;" to begin living in this life our espousal union with Jesus, our Divine Eucharistic Bridegroom. What confusion a female religious must have if she is desiring to be a priest. She is truly missing out on recognizing the very profound and high calling of being the Bride of Christ; in doing so she puts aside her primary role as receptive heart and spiritual mother of the Church, to take on a role of headship and spiritual father, and "in persona Christi" as Divine Bridegroom during Holy Mass. As Pope St. John Paul II confirmed, WOMEN CAN NEVER BE ORDAINED TO THE PRIESTHOOD. If a woman believes God is calling her to be a priest, as the movie "Created Equal" depicts, she is misinterpreting, or being deceived regarding her calling. This doesn't mean she can't evangelize, teach and share the faith with others. One must discern what God is calling them to in light of who God is and His teachings - the Deposit of Faith, passed down through the Apostles in Sacred Tradition, Sacred Scripture and Magisterial Teaching. As the character in "Created Equal" claimed that God told her to become a priest, it is clear the Sly Serpent was at work deceiving, as with Eve. God would not change what he has established and confirmed throughout these past 2000 years. This is why good spiritual directors can be very important. And, the primary spiritual direction for all Catholics is to live and follow the basic teachings and sacramental life passed down to us from the Apostles and early Church Fathers. And, to have a Catechism. Beware of learning any true Catholic teaching from movies or tv shows. Pope St. John Paul II: "I declare that the Church has no authority whatsoever to confer priestly ordination on women and that this judgment is to be definitively held by all the Church’s faithful” (Ordinatio Sacerdotalis 4). One year after this was written, the Church ruled that this teaching “requires definitive assent, since, founded on the written Word of God, and from the beginning constantly preserved and applied in the Tradition of the Church, it has been set forth infallibly by the ordinary and universal Magisterium (cf. While I do not agree with a great deal of Catholic teachings, especially the worship and position of the Pope and idolatry of idols and icons and Mary, the Bible states "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God...2 Timothy 3:16-17. That means that everything in the Bible is God's Word, INCLUDING: "I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet." 1 Timothy 2:12. That's pretty clear and that should have been included in the movie, but was obviously deliberately excluded.

Maybe you should read the bible to know the kind of roles God assigns men and women! In the church, women can carry out other roles, but they can’t be elders such as pastors or priests this is clearly exemplified in verses such as(1 Timothy 3:1-7, 1 Timothy 2:11-12, 1 Timothy 2:13-14) Read these verses carefully and you will understand why God prohibits women from being elders in the church! This has nothing to do with discrimination but with Gods création order!

Paul tells Timothy in his letters to him, that a bishop is to be the husband of one wife, and that women are not permitted to preach. God has an order in creation that goes like this: God is the head of Jesus, Jesus is the head of the church, and man is the head of the woman. Don’t forget that men are told to love their wives like Christ loves the church, sacrificing himself for her. This is not a matter of discrimination, but a matter of God’s created order. Men and women are created equal, but have different roles in life and in the church. These roles reflect God ‘s commands, not man’s preference. It’s not based on Christ not choosing women as Apostles, but based on God’s order.

The Holy Spirit doesnt have to call any woman or man to be a catholic preist. The bible says that we, those who have surrenered are a royal preist hood. I love being female and a woman now for quite some time. My father( all of them) taught me what a man is and helped me to choose a man( Ben )too by the way. Women are leaders in many realms and especially the most intelligent of women but they cannot represent someone who was and is a man, Jesus Christ. Despite what movie lawyer says, there are plenty of references in the bible about male-female roles in the church (man to take on leadership positions and women not to take on leadership positions in the church or in an assembly---she does have various roles to play in the church but not one of leadership--eldership--pastorship--leading or teaching men). Yes we are created equal re: access to salvation/we are both valuable before God/He sent His Son to save both men and women, both Jews and Gentiles etc; however, God has different roles for males and females in the church ...This is clearly outlined in Gods Word from Genesis to Revelations.

Im a Christian and Catholic. Priest married until 11th century and only change from a feae drive decision from a pope whos son was promiscuous virtual a father who didn't exercise boundaries of family and church and the minority effects the majority. Its opportunity of church to manipulate it as it wants which is the Antichrist even in the church and its people. Reality is test all things don't trust all things go to holy spirit. Many men in Christian authority are passive in any church and do the dance to play it safe for the sake of status or not rocking the boat and many have risen to authority not by Christ but by people pleasing. I've seen gifted people often shunned by college and church which is a sign God is closing those doors, not for Christ against Christ. Yes women in seminary is ok in my eyes, really hello in his image we are created

Am okay with what God wants, as a lady, because He is my creator, and chose to make me according to His wonderful, best purpose, can't be nothing less nor more. There are no example of women priests indeed, but there are Prophetesses like Hulda, Teachers like Priscilla , Deaconess like Phoebi, Judge etc, And also the Bible records that we are a royal priesthood, so I thought it better to just prayerfully follow God's calling for our lives, like I have heard of women like Catherine Kuhlman and Maria Woodworth Etter, and many other missionary women, who yielded to be God's servants.

This movie was surprisingly well done. Every since Jesus returned to "heaven" his faithful continue be divisive and controlling. It is God who saves and it is God's Spirit that keeps people through this life.
