I had a 1/18 scale model of the Ford GT90 made by Maisto that I bought at the St. Louis Auto Show in 1995 or 1996, but it got lost in a move sometime in the early 2000s. I've always loved that car, so I looked it up on eBay and you can still find it new in the box for as low as 35 USD.

DUDE! Man let me tell you this has a special memory for me! When I was 17 in June/July 1999 I had my first holiday job as a general hand at a CV joint repair shop belonging to my stepfather's friend. For 2 weeks I was paid around $5' equivalent here in South Africa. The day I got my money I took a beeline to the supermarket to go buy me a 1:18 scale model of that exact car... It cost me 99% of my earnings. Most beautiful thing I ever bought...

remember driving this car in Ford Racing 3 back in 2005, and it was a real handful to control. A slight tap on the gas, and it would spin out. But once I got the hang of it, it became the best car in the game. It’s funny because I spent endless hours playing that game, and seeing this car now makes me feel kinda nostalgic. I loved it, even though it never actually never went into production.
