This is EXACTLY Why I'd Buy a FERRARI DAYTONA SP3!

It's time to experience the Ferrari Daytona SP3! One of my favourite hypercars ever since introduction, join me for a run in the Icona model at the famous hillclimb course of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. A screaming V12, and an opportunity to go flat out, let's go!
Limited to only 599 units, the Daytona SP3 is the second model in Ferrari's Icona series, and on paper is an absolutely perfect recipe. With a 6.5l NA V12 making 840 horsepower, a removable targe roof panel, and bodywork that brings in elements of legendary Ferrari models, it's certainly sounding like a winning concoction.
However, what will it actually be like on the move, and that's what today is all about! I'm jumping on board with Pat Blakeley at the wheel, for a slightly damp run up the hillclimb during the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed, and that means an opportunity to find out what this car is all about. I make no secret that I've become a real fan of the LaFerrari in recent years, and this builds on that same formula so expectations are certainly very high!

In my opinion, the most perfect Ferrari ever made. Lightweight, naturally aspirated and absolutely stunning design (I think it looks even better than the LaFerrari). Last, but not least, the 9500 rpm 6.5 Liter V12.

@@mufc_kenny8186 Thank god its hybrid actually, it helps improve fuel efficiency and motors so it does not lag and gives immediate response. Replacing cost is a nightmare however like the P1 had £70k in just battery replacement

@@4J_777 the laferraris mileage is actually pretty awful compared to the P1 and the 918 because of its specific hybrid system, its kind of like a formula 1 style regen system without the turbos

@@YoungShul From two of three holy trinities mentioned, only LaF is by far the most reliable and realistic to maintain. If you do enough research, LaF holds strongest value as well compared to the rest and you don’t have to worry so much about electrical issues like the P1. Has less production than the 918 Spyder. It’s really not easy to compare when you know it’s a V12 na engine. They’re all still great cars!!

The magma red Daytona certainly looks gorgeous, even in the rain! I think your ride in the SP3 in unfavourable conditions shows speed is not the only important thing and how good Ferrari is at producing cars that are fun to drive.

There is literally nothing about the design of this car that I like. Which is a shame because I can imagine that the engine and handling are pretty impressive. But the design is a total fail imo. No doubt Pininfarina would have done a better job.

I'm sitting at home with my diecast cars pitifully trying to recreate the Goodwood run. Have SP3 Daytona in black and red, SP1 in blue, and SP2 in red and white. Adding a Gemera, three Zondas, Valkyrie, and four Huayra. Adding the Shmee GT500 and Ford GT for fun. Can't find a 1:64 Bolide but my La Voiture Noire is in the mail from China.

‘What a car’ as the driver said. These days Ferrari Hypercars don’t have too much going for them since the LaFerrari, they don’t have as much power, nor are they as rare, nor do they go as fast and accelerate as quickly. However I’m so happy Ferrari put that all behind them with the SP3. It looks jaw dropping, arguably the best looking car at the moment, it’s an NA V12 with so much power, and it obviously drives incredibly. It’s simply a passion driven project that forgets about performance which Ferrari may have been too obsessed with, and for that reason the car delivers as an incredible tribute to the Scuderia’s history and is absolutely a dream car of mine. You’d want the car for the passion and for the driving experience as a passionate Ferrari above any other.
