The very best have all been taught by Rob Wilson, master wizard behind the wheel and BenzeneBen finds himself next on the list beside Valtteri Bottas, Kimi Raikkonen and Nico Rosberg! Everybody likes to think of themselves as the most amazing driver on the roads, but the truth is that there is always something to improve and learn, even for the Formula 1 drivers to sharpen their skills!

Hi, Tim, good job as always!!!Seeing Ben is always a bliss. It would be great if you two made a proper video together testing something very special!! I'd been thinking that the Vauxhall was a bit lack of performance but after I saw it in action it blew my socks off !!! I can tell you straightaway that this channel will be getting incredibly huge very soon!! The one thing that I'd like to know is would you be willing to trade some of your supercars for a car that you reckon very important?

1 on 1 training from a master is priceless regardless of the field. His flat car approach is close to what I taught my friends & kids in the 80s by duct taping a dog dish on the hood with a tennis ball inside & you had to lap the track without losing the ball. It teaches smoothness not speed, that comes later. It’s always been the best approach. (Jackie Stewart was my real teacher though not in person, that was Skip Barber) Tim have you had seat time with this man, has he taught you as well? Thanks Tim

If only we'd have been able to hear the discussion and understand the info Rob was imparting, it would have been a much, much better video - and this criticism is NOT confined to this particular Shmee episode, for it's something which happens too often. The quality of the images is well sorted, why not the sound? The intro and 'cheers' are fine, as are the walk rounds, but once inside a car under 'channelling' audio conditions, it all goes to pot. Much room for improvement - please!

I’ve watched quite a few videos of Rob Wilson training, yet in all honesty, I’ve never found anything I can use in my track driving. I think it’s something to with using an airfield and cones rather than a purpose built. circuit. I’d love to see him training on a better track then maybe I could figure him out a bit more. I know he is great at what he does but Bruntingthorpe, makes for poor videos.
