SHO ME "Volunteer Style" light

Happy Post Turkey Day!
Recent acquisition here, Rebranded SVP model 1168. Sho-me/Able 2 Branded light. Worth noting, that after some research the bulb in this light is a 797 Halogen bulb. I was not totally sure while making this video.
This light is the Grand Child of the S&W L-11 Volunteer light, as SVP, Sho-me, Star.. etc. all came after.

Those were great lights. They gave a sort of triple flash effect as you could see the bulb before and after the reflector came around. But the full size S&W bars kicked ass back in the day. They just didn't hold up.

Great long dwell flash with the size of the reflector. I have a clear and red SVP version from 1993. The cloth will be a 180 degree half cover to attempt to reduce the interior flashback. This will be my second fav light after my FS flashball.

Sho me able 2 is a love of mine especially strobe or led i always end up buying them even if they are not the brightest.

Should come with a magnet the metal plate is for mounting and the dash or wherever you might want it and a rubber cover is for half dome so it doesn't blind you when it's on it on your dash

does have a magnet on it, almost missed it until I was putting it back in the box and it stuck to something.. lol

Pancake light...lube gears sound better. Early 80's cool light in great shape.

Hated strobes, preferred the FS Firebeam w/ reflection mirrors or Hot Shot 2 w/ it too. There was a lo-pro light called the Five-O dashlight but parts were mere impossible to find for it...

I have smith and Wesson L 11 volunteer. Pancake light 80’s is my prefer beacon ever.

Does anyone know how many volts this takes? I want to get one but the cord im also going to get only holds 12v

12VDC is standard for US Automotive applications. I would be more concerned with Amperage rather then Voltage.
