Hey guys, Grumpy has mentioned that I went up with my mate Matt to catch up with Mary Valley Josh. The GasGas’s were purchased new from Hamilton Vic, deal done at Christmas and they’re 2023 models, paid $14,149 on road. How it came about that we went up to do stupid stuff with Josh was because we and another mate had a trip planned to go up on our T7’s and catch him on our way past going to Gladstone, that trip had to be canned for a couple of reasons so then Matt and I decided to throw the red bikes on the ute and do a mission. We took 2 days to get to Gympie, rode for a day and turned straight around and back home 😮‍💨 Enjoying the poddy as always Mark 👍 cheers to Nay, Angus and Grumpy, the awesome foursome 🇦🇺

Hey Mark. Not podcast related. I suffered from planter fascia for years and years. Well over ten years. I've tried everything from stretching, physio, ice, heat spent a fortune on deep tissue massage etc etc. Dr Mitchell Anderson fixed mine. Had me walking normal in two days. 30min procedure in his office at the Shinboners medical centre. In Nth Melbourne. Not cheap around 6-700 in total. But man! better than the pain every single day.. Hope this helps mate. Sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. Condolences to your whole family...... Big Marty

Any chance we can get the old Biker Bits back. 500 subscribers vs 49000 subscribers. I know which channel I’d be more focused on. To Mark and Naomi I mean no disrespect, I just really miss your videos and I’m sure I’m not the only one 👍

Hi guys great work however, The emergency plus app has the what three words capability which is Australian app. We don't have text on triple 000 because not everyone can text but can talk and if phone is out of reach you can use voice activation. Oh angus if you're that smashed up after a crash you're not going to capable of coherent texting assuming you're conscious. generally the pain will override clarity of thought(trust me on that been there). Anyway keep it up love ya work.

The best description of crashing (in relation to seatbelts, but applies to MC) was to think about the fastest human can do 25MPH (40 KMPH). Now, run as fast as you can into a brick wall. That's what an accident at 25 feels when you hit the car window, or the ground.

Just listening to this episode while at work. My sympathies to you and Nah for the loss of your father. I remember you saying once. That your Dad lined you the money to buy Harry ( cruiser ). I lost my mother in the spring (March Canada here ) at the age of 76 from complications from her stroke in 2019.

Thank god you're back. Since giving up alcohol, the only fix I have for shenanigans, is this podcast, and I was hanging out these last two extra weeks, so I went thru all your old ones, would be good if you could put up a message on this podcast page when you guys can't do the podcast. so we guys wanting our fix don't pull our hair out over it. Cheers.

Hi guys great to see you guys back. Technology has certainly changed. I just bought a new Fly racing formula s helmet and if I crash my helmet will send an alert to 000 and an emergency contact (added in app) but it gives you 10 seconds to respond in case you don’t need help. Also has all personal information that gets sent to paramedics (blood type, age etc) had an off 3 weeks ago fractured vertebrae and hit head pretty good. Would have been great to know exactly how hard I hit. Take care lads and keep on keeping on

Kent the TC works when light is on Thus is how it works TC analyzes throttle input from the rider and the rate at which the RPM increases in the engine. If the RPM increases too quickly, the EMS registers a loss of grip and reduces the amount of power to the rear wheel.

Just because some of us wear ATGATT ,doesn't mean that we're not adventurous. All we're doing is reducing the amount of injuries that we cause. By the way some of us now wear a airbag vest, as car drivers still don't know how to see motorcycles.

Yep your right.. I'm smashing the keyboard.. The Rekluse clutch is great, but it's not for everyone. The reason ii removed mine was due to its functionality for adventure riding. Here are some important items to consider... 1 You cannot bump start your bike.. 2..When you stop on a hill, you cannot rely on the bike being in gear to stop you rolling down the hill. It's all on your brakes.. and last but not least, on an adventure bike the bike gearing is very tall, this causes issues with the ckutches engagement due to the rev. My clutch didn't engage until around 4000 to 5000 rpm. What ended up happening was the clutch was slipping when I was cruising this type of clutch is best when under load. Just like in hard technical tracks where 1 or 2nd are mainly used.. It was primarily engineered for dirt bikes. If you do want to use one make sure you set it up for your application.

On competiton bikes like the KTM 500's electronic traction control is prohibited from using external sensors (like wheel speed) so the ECU looks at how the revs rise relative to throttle opening and retards the ignition if the revs pick up suddenly like kicking over a tree root on a hill climb.

A Rekluse clutch is just an over exaggerated expensive version of what Honda used in there small bikes back in the 60/s and still today . Look at the postie bike Mark ,auto clutch with gears.
