I’m 70 now once upon a time I was a kid. My hobby was models of the wolf man and the rest of the crew. Have great memories. Thank you pal.

Always great to be reminded of these core memories. Happy Halloween!

This is my all time favorite Universal Monster movie. Great choice!

Lon Jr. played this role to the hilt! Claude Rains, Maria Ouspenskaya, Ralph Bellamy, Patrick Knowles, Evelyn Ankers, and Bela Lugosi round out a truly great cast. The old saying, "No good deed goes unpunished," held true for poor Larry Talbot. "The Wolf Man" is my all-time favourite werewolf film.

Definitely a five skull film !

For me, this is more a sad love story than a monster movie. Lawrence is a very tragic figure. It bears many repeated viewings as Lon Chaney Jr's acting is brilliant. I agree with your 5 💀

There's no denying The Wolf Man is my favorite Univeral Monster movie.

Great movie and by far one of the best of all time, regardless of genre. Favorite werewolf movies for myself would be… 1. The Wolfman (1941) 2. An American Werewolf In London 3. The Howling 4. Silver Bullet 5. The Curse Of The Werewolf 🐺

I always felt like this was a great Passing of the torch film. It had been 10 years since Bela Lugosi played as Dracula and here he was creating the next generation of monster.😊

This is the first horror film I remember seeing at two years old on Sammy Terry. When I was a kid I didn't realize that the wolfman feet were actually boots. Years later in a viewing it hit me and I wondered how I had not seen it before.

Would there have been a Wolfman Jack without the Wolfman? 🤔

1) I love the Wolfman character and the movie. 2) Dr. Gangrene should get s tribute by somebody the same way he is doing tributes to the other Horror Hosts. 3) This countdown is has been a great fun time. I’ll be bummed when it ends. But I will rewatch.

The Wolf Man is my favorite #1 Universal classic monster film. The clothing change when he transforms into the Wolf Man doesn't bother me in the least. It's part of the transformation. I love his Wolf Man pants. And if you're talking realism, people don't turn into werewolves either. It's a fantasy/fairytale not meant to be taken literally.

I think the best werewolf transformation is actually in The Company of Wolves. I never cared for The Wolfman. I saw Hammer's Curse of the Werewolf first and I think I prefer the story in that more.

Interesting. I'd have to go with An American Werewolf in London for best transformation scene. But I do love Hammer's Curse of the Werewolf! Great movie

Wilfred Glendon in Werewolf of London threw a scarf around his neck before going out for a bite. (Chilly London weather?) Werewolf rules were still in flux.

Werewolves obviously take pride in their appearance.

I haven't seen this film in a while. I don't think they address why Bela turns fully into a wolf , while Larry turns into a wolf/man hybrid.
