Probably not phrased right but they would be married after this.

"There's always Vanilla" and "Season of the Witch" were both Romero's next film after Night?
@drgangrene2 күн бұрын
Yep. Little side detour thematically before returning to horror with The Crazies. Although Season of the Witch has a little supernatural overtones.

The historic marker is amazing! I grew up watching Sir Graves Ghastly in MI and they honored him with a cool relief sculpture that's in one of the old theater palaces in the state.

I watched Sir Cecil when I was little and he scared me so bad! But I loved the drink Creature Cooler!!

Great theme! I’m psyched! I have a book about Dr. Shock (Philadelphia CH 17 1970 -79) that has a list of all the films he played on Mad Theatre and Horror Theatre and I’ve gotten so much joy remembering watching some of those specific films. I’ll be curious to see how many from The Shock Package will correspond. 🎃💀 Great job with the Sir Cecil Creape marker!

Ah. The Shock Theater package from 1957, as hosted by Roland (Zacherley), Vampira and Chicago's Marvin. Not only is this an awesome theme, but it is a setup for the Son Of Shock next year. ;)

Every year when Halloween passes, I start looking forward to the next Halloween countdown. October is my favorite month, and Halloween is, hands down, my favorite holiday. Your countdowns are just icing on the Halloween cake, Doc. As always, thank you so much for your work and dedication to horror!

I didn't know much about you because I had left the Nashville area decades ago and hadn't kept up too closely with pop culture there, but, because of your championing of Sir Cecil Creape, I started watching your current show and reruns on NECAT on Roku and online. I am really enjoying them, but I am sorry that I hadn't discovered you earlier. You've been doing and are doing a great job. It's fun catching up. Now, you're going "Shock Theater" for Halloween. You are a class act.

Great theme for this year Doc! Growing up I only knew about Elvira so the existence of local TV horror movie hosts across the U.S. fascinates me.

I think this is my favorite idea for the countdown yet! This countdown kicks off my Halloween!! And side note - Sir Cecil is very lucky to have such a dedicated fan in you. I imagine you inspire that same loyalty in your fans. I bet some day you'll have a marker too!
