SHOCK Travel Day | TUI | MAN to MLB | Drive Melbourne to Celebration | FLORIDA | Day 1 | May 22

SURPRISE!!!! We are on another Trip and Vlog series, which we only booked on the Sunday evening and travelled the following Tuesday morning. This time we are staying with Friends and Family in Celebration, Florida. We fly from Manchester to Melbourne Florida, with TUI.
Day 1 is our travel day, which included our flight, drive from Melbourne and enjoying the amazing house in Celebration.

We did this trip 3 weeks ago (Apr 23) - used drop & go carpark at MAN (excellent in & out) - 20 mins though check in & security at Man - Mlb work is finished and although compact it's all there ! Took again maybe 20 mins from deplane to immigration to car rental and away onto the 192. On the way back the trip was pretty much the same - easy passage through Mlb & Man (all very efficient & quick) & before you knew it we were back on the M62. Universal Annual passes are always worth it if you plan on going at least twice in the 12 month period (get 1 "Preferred" pass with free parking). Seaworld the same - often they have deals where you buy 1 annual pass & get 4 free guest passes to Seaworld / Busch Gardens & "preferred parking".

There are free shuttles to the off site rental car companies. They line up outside, with the rental company’s name on them. I live over the causeway from Melbourne, on “the beaches”. Next time check out the beaches. The girls will love it.

Haha. Yeah, I'm subscribed and I've 'hit that notification bell' as Scarlet says. Our daughters are 16 months apart and the eldest is 20 months so it's going to be an adventure for sure. The DVC seemed worth it when we bought it because we have the points for the next 37 years and given the cost of Disney increasing year on year we felt like it was a good move as a family based in the U.K. Thanks for the tip on leaving more time - seems like sensible advice. @@roryoneill3085 ha ha. Thank you. Wow. They are young. We took Sienna in Nov 2019, she was 6 weeks old. Vlogs are on our channel. We may look at DVC in a couple of years. This summer will be big for us, we’ve really fallen for Universal this year and with all their plans they are going to get better. Disney appear to have lost their magic and need to bring a lot back, before they increase the offer. A big reason we never went for DVC was the free dining plans. So right now, we’re thinking after this summer we will give Disney a rest. We could feel different after August….. Appreciate the kind words again.

But this one was an off the cuff, cheap trip and it was amazing! Was the 25th anniversary, when they made the castle into the hideous pink birthday cake? I went too.

Hi Ash, we have just stumbled across your recent vlog Man to MLB. We often watch the Knightstrider, who has recently visited Florida and also the MacMaster. We are also regular travellers to the US, as my mum lives in St Augustine in Florida. Your tip regarding Hertz offsite from MLB, was spot on and we have been looking at Hertz at Harbor City Blvd, however their own site and App, blocks us. I think they have latched on to the UK IP address, but I will not be beaten! I will try Kayak, or get my mum to look into it. Airport = £1371.92 for 14 days. Offsite = £362.18!! Great Vlogs 😎👍

Your car hire off airport is good, but it is a risk. You were lucky they stayed open, if you were delayed another hour it would likely have been closed. Pays your money takes your chance. But what a fantastic price for the flights. I’ve seen some have plane switches on Virgin to old plane too so Can happen to anyone.

@@thehardies4084 we only stayed in a villa because of coming to see friends and family. We normally stay onsite (at Disney and/or Universal). It’s so much easier. The driving to a villa after a day in the parks can be tough. Our favourite place to eat at Disney is Ohana. At Universal, we love Cowfish and out of the parks we’re fans of many, Red Lobster, Taco Bell, Panda Express. Thanks for subscribing and watching. We really appreciate it.

The food on the plane looked disgusting also the cabin crew knew they were being filmed hence being over nice normally they don’t give the time of day

Food wasn’t great, but not true about the staff they were lovely and really tried to solve many issues that were caused by the change of plane, delays and other issues, which were not their fault and of which was all completely off camera. We’ve flown with Aer Lingus, Virgin and Tui this year and on all three the staff have been lovely each time.
