As I commented already on your unboxing. I ordered it right away because I really wanted that design to be upscaled and enhanced and I absolutely love it! Transforms simple, enjoyable and still accomplishing two good looking modes. Hopefully we get Ironhide too!

Got mine a few days ago. Fits perfectly with my DLX scale bumblebee collection. Whats crazy is it was only 10 more than the the small hollow open panels studio series

I absolutely loved the original SS BBM Ratchet figure so to see an upscale that improves upon that figure has me seriously tempted

Hello. I remedied my waist pop off issue by doing 2 things. Using a hobby knife, operating on the L bracket with the waist connection, I cut a deeper lip on both sides of the cylinder and took a little way from the cylinder above the lips to allow clearance for the adjustments. I also removed the mushroom screw and put the cylinder end in very hot water, putting a screw driver between the smaller groove of the cylinder making it open a half mm or so then put the L bracket cylinder (with the screw driver still attached as the wedge) in ice water for 1 minute. It should be a tighter fit and more secure. I transformed Ratchet 2 times with no pop offs. Hopefully that makes sense to most who attempt the mod! Great Review Ben!!!

The side panels haven't lined-up in any of the photos of video reviews of this figure online. Sirtoys showed pictures of the waist and one of the leg (cover) panels snapping off, but ShowZ said they tested 3 of their stock units without any breakages. My version was pre-ordered and is on its way from China as I type this.

let me take a wild guess, there might be more than meets the eye about the spring loaded panel behind his lower leg, the panel maybe in loose position in robot mold and the flip out panel could cover up the hollowness while he does kneeling.

I wish they would’ve painted the robots back panels. Like made the vents gunmetal grey, throw in some red accents. Some more of those tech decals. Just enough to catch the eyes attention, without being overbearing.

My advice is to do the cockpit lock in last. It's easier to get the Arm and Leg tabs together first when the body is still flexible when going to Vehicle mode. Overall perfect figure!

Had to get two of these for each mode. Pretty awesome figure for the price and it deals with most of the issues that the Hasbro version has in a larger size. I know Hasbro came up with the original design but this figure clearly shows that their figures are not worth the asking price. The only things I don't like about this KO are the somewhat hollow torso (but that's only noticeable when looking at it from the bottom) and the non-poseable hands but these are more nitpicks than anything. I hope they do the other SS Bee figures and maybe design their own Cybertron mode characters.

Crazy that this figure is only about $10 more than the smaller, full of hollow gaps and lacking a led in the cannon and die-cast parts original. I sincerely love the look and transformation of the original, have this on order. I am excited to play around with it myself, thanks for the review!

Ben, I recently ordered 2 after watching your video and BOTH of mine separates at the waist. It's not broken ( I don't think) but does yours have that issue too or did you leave that out for the sake of video quality? P.S. Not attacking or blaming you, I just genuinely want to know before I send them back.

These are OS to MP scale, so the Hasbro figures will look really small by comparison

Looks so much better than the tiny hasbro original. Can't wait to get mine from showzstore. he is on the way. 2022 is special. hasbro transformers are tiny and overpriced and 3rd party transformers costs less money and are oversized! 😅

I still think we should buy the official versions wherever possible, but as the originals are smaller than the current CHUG toys (which themselves are small), I didn't bother with them. I might be interested in repainted versions of the originals, as new characters. I think Arcee would like good in her black and hot pink "Titan Slayer" colours. Anyway, I hope they release the other versions of these characters in this scale.
