Great video as always. We cycled the same route today through playa honda. The point where it states no cycling stated that only applied to bikes over 14 years old, was written in English. Guardia civil were driving through so we stopped to ask them and they confirmed it was accurate. Lovely route though, great scenery

I walked from Matagorda to Arricefe with Debra one year, kebab near the Grand and ice cream near the castle. Drinks on the way back at Playa Honda, it took us most of the day and a very lazy day following as we were tired out. No police then but a couple of weeks ago we saw the same Policeman as you stopping people. Well worth it walking the route 👍🏻

When I go to lanzarote .I allways take my bike .try cycling along cycle lane from Pdc to Costa Teguise the amount of people who walk in cycle lane or just walk straight over it . Not looking where they're going🤦‍♂️ .there's a cycle lane that goes thru Playa Honda. (Painted red on road ).

Biosphera nightclub, DJed there for an Austrian promoter friend of mine in 1996 or 97 . The roof opens up, so an open air nightclub. Dunno if it's in use, past it back in May. Walked from PDC to the bus station by the club 😢

Yep we hired bikes and were told to stop and walk them when passing by Playa Honda. We decided to cycle through the town itself to avoid the path

You do not have to get off your bike at all at Playa Honda, its just a nice diversion through the town, about a mile and then back on to the front. Once I get to Arrecife I cycle on the road, much safer. Them scooters are death traps, 1000 times more dangerous than bikes. I normally wouldnt watch someone who slags cyclists off so much.....but I do like your videos Mr. Travelon so wont be boycotting unless the hate gets too bad hahahaha....That nightclub place on the edge of Arrecife has looke deserted since my very first bike ride past exactly 10 years ago.

The trouble with all these scooters and mobility scooters and bikes are in areas of people they go way to fast. They leave them in unsuitable places. As for where the ‘cycle’ paths go they put them generally where they think people want to use them rather than to avoid where too many people are. Around my way the scooters go faster than the 20mph speed limit. They change direction suddenly and have no high vis or lights. If everybody thought about what they are doing we could all get on with each other, but people just don’t consider others.
